  • Thanks Bro Joel for writing this out of my own heart

  • Shivers down my spine...:o)

  • This is the most beautiful song! It pertains to many lifes. As for me, why He looked my way is still a great mistery! I'm so glad He did. Also, I 'm so very thankful for what He has shown and done for me! I know if you turn your life over to Him, you will be His. He will love, guide, protect and walk with you no matter what. As far as the artists goes, the've done a fantastic job of singing it! I've only herd it sung by one other person, a woman, name unknown, spectacular. (To God be the glory!)

  • great song and great group....one of the best ever!!

  • The tenor is Rick Strickland. He is a good family friend and great guy. He has done a lot spreading God's word through his ministry both with the Stamps and now with his own singing career. This quartet is one of the best and I have have heard more than a few growing up as a ministers son. God Bless...

  • @heritagebreedsfarm you were SO BLESSED to have met J.D. never was that lucky. since you heard a lot of gospel groups maybe you can help me. years ago i got to see The Dixie Echoes and have been trying for years to find a song i heard that night by them I'ts Just Heavens Echo. it is my fav quartet song thanks

  • Who is the tenor????

  • @Laur158030 The tenor is Rick Strickland

  • I did not realize I had this cd with till today. This morning I stuck it in my cd player---wide open. I got so excited that when I got in Gainesiville, I was jamming. I met the police and he made a u-turn in the middle of the road. I slowed ...down and just kept on singing. when we got to the red light and stopped. I just knew He had me. He rolled down his window and said Hi. I said HI and He said' "WELL PRAISE THE LORD!"

and went on his merry way.

  • They have ALWAYS been my favorite, too! And in addition to being such great singers, they are super guys!

  • One of the greatest gospel songs ever....

  • THANK YOU for wonderful share .....

Would be great to have Elvis Presley playing piano and singing this song, with friends, i.e. Million Dollar Quartet ..... OR, with his friends and colleagues THE STAMPS, who sing it in this video.

  • When I first heard this I thought it was a black southern gospel quartet. When I learned it was JD Sumners and the Stamps I found another reason to be amazed at their talent. Wow.

  • thanks Bro.Joel for writing this song.

a lot of it came from my heart, when i

have wounded others or they have

wounded me to the point of giving up

    on Jesus.

  • always wanted to meet Bro. J.D. My favorite stamps song. thanks to Bro. Joel

for writting it. You wrote out of my heart

to a lot of people i have known.
