hey, i have a scooter like this with the x2 cvt on it, but they keep breaking. i just broke my third one yesterday. is there something you are doing to keep yours from breaking?
continuous variable transmission it means when you take off, the engine stays at one rpm while the bike picks up its speed im pretty sure its almost like that
@TJAKEkid123 Your close but not exactly, CVT = Continuously Variable Transmission it does keep the engine at a mostly constant RPM but what it is doing is smoothly changing gear ratio instead of shifting gears. This is usually done with 1 or 2 spools that vary gear ratio by letting a belt slide up or down them via cintrifical controls.

Continuously Variable Transmission.
Does anyone out there know of a fransmission that fits this motor but goes to a higher final gear ratio?

The final output from the CVT is up to you.
You can gear for major top end and adjust the rollers to shit accordingly.

oops, romved that...
The drive gear from the CVT needs to be changed (larger), or the gear on the wheel (smaller).
That will change the final drive ratio.
