@ChristianIsraeli I dunno if I should greatfull or offended. In a nut shell look at when this video was made, a long time ago also it was my first ever tutorial I made. I guess from then I have slowed down a bit however feed back is always good from people like you. The offensive side where you called me aragount was unnecessary. So really feedback was good, the rest was just uncalled for.

Hi im trying to add a list of customer vehicles form my database after i make a search for a customer , and i want a list of vehicles to be returned to a list box so they can either delete vehicles or add new ones to the list box and in the database at the same time.

there is nothing on the internet about this and i was wondering if some 1 could give me advice please, even advice on an alternative way of adding a list of database results.

i know what MYSQL is cause i use the bugger all the time. MYSQL requires a specil adaptor (i belive) called the JDBC-MYSQL. Then once you got that adaptor its just plain sailing with SQL.

P.S. MYSQL is not made just for VB, quite the opisit, is was thrown in at the end haha, MYSQL is used in a lot of web programing including PHP, ruby on rails etc

I got it to work, but i have a problem.

If i open up the program and remove a row and save, i get an unhandled exeption error.

The same thing happenes when i change the value of something.

first of all..you have made a huge mistake.. by copying the database in the project directory. second.. it is a pretty simple example.. i have trouble making a project with 2 tables that are linked. anyway.. thx 4 the effort

this is using acsess, if you were to deploy this you would proberly make an SQL database using ether SQL studio (or what ever its called) or make it in the IDE as a databadename.MDF
