Here in Colombia we are improving our laws to recognise the rights of gays and lesbians, although changing people's minds is a little bit more difficult. There are a lot of orphans in the world who need love and care, adopting should not be banned for LGBT.

Secondly, I feel children raised in a family where they are suppress and controlled to only express their gender's traits is dangerous to a child's health. Too many parents teach their sons that they must be emotionless and that they shouldn't do things that are considered "feminine." On the other side, we teach our daughters to be submissive to men and so on. This creates more issues than having two parents of the same sex.

Actually society is pushing men to be feminine. Look around its everywhere. Men can cry and be kinda, caring and the lot. But men can also stand up for whats right, have an opinion, fight for the they believe in, keep the budget, and bring home the bacon. Society is turning out so many men or should I say boys that have to marry so that someone can take care of them. My wife is reading a book right now on how to be more submissive to me and she finds it liberating.

People who can't even make the basic functions of figuring out that they are are a man and perhaps maybe they should act like one. If you can't even open your eyes and say hey men are supposed to be with women. Its like the question on the DMV test what does a stop sign mean choice A. Stop choice B. Go. If you can't even have a clue on the basics how in the world are you going to do a decent job at raising children. Now that takes wisdom.

The thought or idea of the fact there are gay adoption banns really really upsets me to the point of tears andt also makes me angry. I dont see how being bi gay or straight has anything to do with raising loving caring well rounded kids who well grow up knowing what love is

@Leguillo03 I have to agree. I can't believe that someone would stand up for equal rights! I can't stand people like that; they really piss me off. My friend, Kevin Alejandro (he's married to a woman and has a child) who stars on "SouthLAnd" and "True Blood" has also recorded some PSA's for this group and I was so upset with him. People should not support equal rights! I'm disappointed in anyone who does.

This is my Liberial/ Moderate Belief in Parenting! I grew-up with an Abusive Step-Mother (Very Physical & Mental) Abuse! My father was the type that Belived in Punishment but also let you understand Why or How you had gotten to be punished! He explained, His action's as well as urs! An estimated 77% of reported sexual abusers are parents (57% of the total being natural parents), 16% are other relatives, and 6% are non-related. Honestly I don't agree with someone with that type of life style to adopt. The reason being is because i grew up in a home where we were taught that it wasn't right and states the same in the bible(among other things lol) BUT It is true that regaurdless if your gay or st8 that it has no effect on your actions towards the child. I also don't think it's a good idea to display that type of action in front of the child until they're older.but God loves all so....I'm not judging. More power to ya

@miss24Tiff I grew up being told that my parents would love me no matter who I loved and frankly being raised in a straight home or a gay home won't make you the same as them. And also about children seeing mama and mom kissing goodbye or daddy and dad wont change much except they well mostlikely be more open minded.
