blair i take it back its not that the lighting is in the wrong place it is slightly the problem is you have to much light. i'm not sure how you can fix the problem when your walls are painted it shouldn't make any difference unless there is a reflection.

You should try the healing and soothing mask by Mario badesqu, it really makes a difference on my active acne! The drying cream is also really nice for those under the skin cystic pimples

I think that the main thing that is helping you is the moisturiser. be careful with products that have alcohol in them, they are really harsh on the sensitive skin!
