When we were looking into dog breeds for our next dog, and we talked to a golden breeder and she said many of the goldens are being over bred and are inheriting aggresive traits, and with the daschund, there crazy little things very tenacious dogs but you have to be to take on a badger!

This is a good video. However...I can say I've NEVER met a vicious Golden Retreiver. That has to be extremely rare in comparison to pitbulls. In fact, my friend who lost half of his arm from his family raised pitbull, now owns a Golden Retriever and a Jack Russell Terrier.

They're not hard to find. Just up the street from my mom-in-laws house......a very territorial Golden almost rips through the fence everytime we walk past.

The average family gets a dog and then just leaves it fenced up in the yard. no walks, no play time, no social interaction except to feed and pick up the poo.

Sadly enough, that is very true. Or, the other side is I've seen people who live in apartments and get a dog that is far too big for the space and don't give it proper exercise or socialization.

No particular reason, it's a different understanding. Regardless, 2 types of dogs I will never trust around me or my family are pitbulls and the tosa inu. I'm also very cautious around the Chow Chow also, because they tend to have a protective temperment.

and were are all the protests demanding these dogs be destoryed and goldies banned! oh wait, their not pitbulls so it must be a 'one off'. cute & fluffy aren't the dogs usaullu targetted by bsl.

in the uk, the dog type that hospitalized more people than any other was spaniels yet its pitbulls that are banned.
