Ironically, the SEATTLE TIMES (then an afternoon paper, now morning) is still publishing, while the "interesting" paper, the POST-INTELLIGENCER, is now online-only.
Perhaps it got pulled because it made SNL look like amateurs night. Of course my home videos make SNL look like amateurs night, and all those consists of is my dog rolling in feces and a seal sunbathing on Newport beach.
For a long time when people ordered Thai food at work, I chose not to order because I wanted to be like the guy in this video. I finally had some, but it was just chicken fried rice.
It has, and it makes me sad. We used to be quirky and unusual, and now everything has just gone so...generic. Generic, and in a lot of places pretentious, which it never was when I was younger. :(

I don't know which I miss more. Almost Live, or listing the Pat Cashman & Lisa Foster on the radio in the morning.

@botchalism right, that's why it's been on for almost 40 years.

Too bad those days are gone. The spirit of Seattle really has vanished...
Sigh...

Man you got that right! Back when the Sonics had Gary Payton, and they were good. Damn I miss the Seattle of old.

Payton, Kemp and Detlef Schrempf... Great team. those were like the glory days for the Sonics.
