Fantastic video Jen. Think I might get the No.7 Foundation Brush with my voucher. Im currently using Cliniques anti blemish foundation too. Really love your videos. xx
@millmollmac I didn't post any for AAAGES - I'm surprised I didn't loose all my subscribers lol.... I do like the 224, mine has been fine so far and not gone too scratchy - Sometimes with natural hair brushes (which I think this is - Just checked MAC site and it doesn't say) I use a tiny bit of conditioner on them after a deep clean and that helps them stay softer...
Wow, really pretty look. I love the neutral eyes - I always need ideas for work, and I love how your eyes look in this video. And, that lip combo looks absolutely gorgeous with the whole look - it brightens up your whole face, and the beautiful color of your eyes, just pop. I am always a bit afraid of underworld when i see it in the store, but I really love the bait/underworld combination.
Lovely tutorial, I think I need that MAC contoring brush! I realised recently I've been putting my contour and highlight too low - oops, I must have looked a STATE! - but I could see really well where you were applying yours and I think I'm getting it right now!
Hey Jen, great look! I love that lipstick, I don't have any Illamasqua products but I think that lipstick may be my first! Hope you do more tutorials xx
@TheMoultonj Thanks for the comment - I apologised for looking a little grumpy and explained why in the down bar. Hopefully once I get some decent editing softward and find putting tutorials together a bit less of a race against time, I will look a bit more rrelaxed!
I do like bourjois too - the smoky eye trios, blushers, face powders and some of he liners are amazing! x
beautiful tutorial, that foundation looks really good on you. i think i remember you saying in another video that you had dry skin, i was wondering if the clinique foundation dries your skin out at all? i was considering getting it but im scared it'll dry my dry patches of skin out even more!
@howlingbells74 Hiya - I do have dry skin in the winter, and its slightly combo at warmer times of the year. I don't find the clinique foundation drying personally, however thats obviously a personal thing, and your skin might react differently. I used it in this video because my skin is really quite blemished (for me) at the moment, and I feel using a foundation like this is wiser at the moment. I don't really suffer from "dry patches" of flaky skin, but if you do, I'd recommend NOT using a
@howlingbells74 (continued) "buffing" style brush when you apply foundation - it will just buff up the dead cells and make foundation look patchy. Apply your foundation with a flatter brush and then if you need to, use your fingers to smooth out any streakiness etc. Hope that helps!
@mizzworthy thank you so much that sounds sensible when you explain it like that, i always think buffing will give the best finish and blending but i see your point, ill give it a try tomorrow! p.s if this is your skin when its looking bad then im very jealous, it looks gorgeous on screen! keep up the tutorials, i really enjoyed this one xx
this is lovely! thank you so much! :D
