actually after reading the manga there is enough there to make a second season but in order for them to do that there has to be a continuation in Japan b4 they make one in the US altho the problem is because it is a spice of life manga/show it drags on and on so it would get really boring, like at the end of some eps when koyuki gave a voiceover to kil the mood terribly, imagine like 4 or more eps of that in a row 1 good 1, then 4 more slow ones, thats prob y there is no season 2

you're forgetting that this is a show made by and for a japanese audience. the "english" spoken by the japanese actors sound just fine to them. Do american audiences care that the characters in the movie crouching tiger, hidden dragon speak in badly accented chinese?

Honestly the original Japanese version has entirely too much "ENGRISH" for it to be enjoyable. Would it have killed them to have hired English actors to do the English in the original Japanese. I mean seriously some of the chactors are supposed to be American and sounds nothing like it.

Also, everyone needs to understand that any criticism of Beck doesn't automatically mean someone hates the show. I freaking love this show but I acknowledge some of it's problems (Original has some bad Engrish, too much time is spent on characters that're just dropped midway through the series).

the origanal version is by the beat crusaders, personally i think its probably the better version, but that is just my opinion, although the dub version of this with jeff ( producer of Funimation ) singing is still a very good clean sounding version. ( on that note jeff also did Kiyouke's voice in this series)

Actually it isn't. The original song is in English. Notice the replacent of 'the' with 'de' and pronuciation of 'those years' as 'dose ears' and 'let' as 'ret' and the other little mistakes with grammar and pronuciation, along with their accents. Considering that the singers clearly grew up in japan (judging from the accents), the English is pretty good.

Beck is the best musical manga/anime I've ever known..For me, Koyuki n Ryusuke's life have a similarity with my own life,in some ways..and I always feel like this is my "anthem of my life" song.Moon on The water/fool moon sways will always be in my heart..
