Halo, Medal of honor and call of duty are best 1st person shooter. I think their pretty close. I'm no critic, I just like a game that you can be good at w/o much practice, unlike WOW, which, in order to be really good at, you must play for YEARS :(

There really is no point for a content filter. Gears of War 2 is rated M, which represents the word mature because of its gory violence and its harsh language. Shouldn't people who purchase this game already know this game is for mature viewers only?

Halo 3 has forge, where you can create your own maps, and on top of that, Halo 3 has custom games, so you can make a gametype that fits your map perfectly, and then play it that way.

I ran out an bought the halo games after i beat the Gears games, and was so disapointed that i doubt ill ever play them again. Medal of honor is better than either one.

Gears are good games, because of the tuck and cover. By far my favorites are the Medal of Honor games, because its REAL first person, and its REAL guns, with REAL scenarios, not gay blobs of light squirting out of a Super-Soaker at some miget troll. I have a few of the Halo games, they suck.

Gears of War 2 is a good game but not because of the cover system. The cover system is by far the best out of every game with a cover system but the graphics, gameplay, and the presentation of the game is magnificent. You said Halo is "gay" because of some weapons squirting light out of a Super-Soaker. First of all, Halo 3 is not trying to be realistic. It is a Sci-Fi shooter. I don't know anything about the Medal of Honor games but you only like it because of realism, but gears isn't realistic.

Very awesome missions, great graffics, very realistic shooting. You actually look down the sights of the weapon to aim. Best first person shooter game period. And Modern Warefare is insane on Xbox Live.

I've played Modern Warfare and Gears of War 2. The graphics in both games are amazing. I've seen the texture quality and the decals of the latest Medal of Honor game and it's overall graphics are mediocre. The graphics aren't bad but I would expect more from this game especially with the graphics engine it uses.

I notice you don't mention the lag, rolling the opposite direction when you play fast, and the more cartoonie and less heavy way the character moves. The first one is much better.
