This would be, okay, if you didn't need to use previously uploaded videos. You should be able to upload files from your PC into the editor, so, you can then edit, and combine, without uploading this as a video, then making them as one.

I guess this is for those times you decide to make last minute changes but it's already uploaded and you can't bother waiting to re-upload a long video again. If it's truly done in the cloud then that means YouTube's servers would be encoding the video instead of your PC, and then swap in the new video in a snap. At least that's how it should be.

I think some people are missing the point of this. You Are Editing IN the Cloud. I sold some of the first Nonlinear Video editing systems.I heard all this same nonsense from people who still wanted to use their tape.

Of course you can edit stuff better then this program on your local computer. The point is 3 years from now you will not need it. You will be shooting your video into the cloud. Snip a few things here and there. And get it out to the world. All this in the palm of your hand.

Look, I'm sorry to you hard-working Google people but Google UIs are rarely laid out for ease of use. Worst is Google Docs. Gmail is pretty good. You Tube is harder than ever to figure out. It's shame that Google is supposed to be the leader of cloud computing. You need to lay the info out in cleanly visible categories and paths rather than just have a bunch of buttons all over the damn place. Seriously man, learn something from apple about UIs that are functional and pleasurable to use.
