This is a truely communist propaganda movie during the 60s-70s period! This movie painted the true royal gov't as an evil gov't! The communists lied to the these poor lao peasents, these farmers had no idea about the communist ideology, and its oppression. The party dictates every thing about people's lives, and the people themselves have no say in any thing!!

This is a very good quality movie for the time period and has better actors and better videography than todays lao movies.The actors speech flows real well and does not sound like they're reading off of a piece of paper, like a lot of todays laotion movies.
