    lmx^2 + (m^2 -ln) x - mn = 0

    (p+q) z^2 + (p+2q+r) z + (q+r) = 0

    understood everything, except the (b/2)² part

    I suggest you watch part 1 of this series, as I go into more detail in that video.

    Basically, 'b' is the coeffcient on the linear term once you have divided through by 'A' which is the quadratic coefficient.

    There will be more videos that go over more basic points - and they will be orgranized into specific playlists once there are more up. At the moment I am just putting out the videos as I make them (not in a particular order).
