This was not a bad theme, but it wasn't right for 90210. You can hear some bars of the backing music used for 90210 in this theme variation.

I'm not sure if it appeared on the DVD. If it did, it may have been just the first few episodes. I think it may be on the 2hour pilot episode which I believe is also released as a separate DVD.

I only saw the last five episodes or so of the first season when it was on t.v. and it was the same as the song on the DVD.

On the DVD, the same sequences are still there, but the music immediately swaps to the regular 1st season that we all know.

thanx for posting this, its great seeing it that way again, since on the dvd's its changed to the other theme, but i am always a fan of old shows or movies not being altered from the way they originally were.
