Part of the problem is that you're trying to avoid smearing all Muslims. While it's true that all Muslims aren't violent, it's also true that all those who are "true or genuine Muslims" that actually attempt to following the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith will either be violent or support violent Jihad. @Leavon i would not say that Islam is not a religion. It is one of the 3 Abrahamic religions- Judaism, Islam, Christianity. It has been around for a couple thousand years. I think if you look back in history to the U.S. meddling in foreign countries and nation building, you will find just cause for people to take this religion and use it as support to kill Americans. I am not a supporter of terrorism, but I cannot denounce a belief that has a small percentage of radicals.
