@coffeecoffeecoffeeyo well u know.i agree with u. but most bands just can't sing when they get older. Judas Priest for example, did 42 albums atleast, and they're 70 some years old and still are on. The offspring's Rise and Fall Rage and Grace is still good in my opinion, but they are not as good as their albums,Smash or Americana. They have to come to an end.

I love this album. You often read that bands have evolved and grown, but I feel with this album Offspring really did just that. A perfect mix of old 'real' offspring like songs and different stuff like Kristy, are you doing ok? This song is a perfect example if you wonder how the album sounds.

Offspring was always great, but a bit monotune, they chanced that with this album.

For anyone that thinks this sounds like LinkinPark they are retarded. They are both different with there own styles. Linkin Park is way more unique than The Offspring. But The Offspring is good and has a very down to earth feel. But LinkinPark is taking there music in a thousand different directions, no band on this earth has done the things they did in their last album. I really hope the next Offsprings album will be great. @AstrophelTDeath I must say, after not having listened to this band for about ten years, their sound has definitely changed. I wouldn't say that Linkin Park were more unique, as if you listen to the older Offspring music, it was what made them huge- their individuality (which was mainly due to Dexter's unusually high vocals). I think they are different genres, so can't really be compared as to 'which is better'. But yes their style has changed massively since 1987 and is more mainstream.

@bluorb Offspring has changed... get over it. Really. Bands either change, break up, or start to suck. Offspring, in a sense, is being like Green Day. They're singing the same things they always have, but is using newer sounds. The idea is to appeal to a new audience while introducing old fans to the new wave.

I'm sorry Offspring isn't going to stay on the level of Self Esteem and The Kids Aren't Alright forever, but times change and so do bands.
