Betty, I love this recipe. I want to make it for my mom, but sausage upsets her stomach. Do you have any suggestions for spices I could use with plain beef, so this can still have some great flavor?
@ishkeverone Use a small amount of ground red pepper; then. crush some dried parsley, dried chives, garlic powder, and dried cumin together. This should give a nice flavor, and you don't need to use the sausage.
Hi Betty I'm Merena and i would like to be come a chef when i grow up but aren't you suppose to take off you rings before touching any raw meat? Oh and your recipes are great my mom she loves the meatball sub but anyways your a good cook. :)
u must read this. once u have started there is no turning back. a little 10 year old girl was raped and murderded in 1945. her body was not found until 1947. then a boy last week read this and did not copy and paste this message. the dead girl appeared in his room haunting him and killed him. if you do not copy and paste this onto 10 vidoes in 30 minutes the dead girl will apear in your room tonight and haunt you and kill you. well you better start to copy and paste to be saved

Where is the seasoning in the meatballs? When you mix together you should add salt and pepper, along with herbs, parsley, oregano. And if your using pork, sage is a great seasoning. Also blitz 3 slices of bread into crumbs and add a beaten egg, it makes a great mixture, classic meatballs with flavour! Nice vid Betty :)
Im making this for dinner tonight for my family it looks like a great recepie. Off subject but some sort of backsplash behind your stove top across that wall would look fantastic in your kitchen....something like tile, rock or glass. I have no idea what made me think of that when I was watching your video.
Your meatballs look so delicious. I can't wait to make them for my husband. Thanks so much for all the wonderful recipies and tips you give us. You are the Greatest!!
This looks so great and y do u need the sasuage can i just use ground lean beef cuz i dont hav sasuage here and since im 15 i cant go to store i hav no car but can i just use lean beef with garlic, jalepino and the prego since i hav those ingrediants
Thanks! We really enjoy it! And the meatballs are much easier to make than most. If you want to make it easier, you can leave out the sauted green pepper and garlic. it will still taste *very* good, and be super simple to make! Thanks for staying in touch!
That would be great with turkey meatballs! Those were some cheddar-flavored rice cakes. I was short on time, so I didn't mention any of the accompaniments. Thanks for viewing and commenting!

kamkam604 9 months ago
@kamkam604 You may use ground beef only; it won't be quite as spicy, but very good.

Hi Betty,
How come no egg or bread crums with meat balls? The sandwich does look good though. Keep Smiling and pass it on to others.

@watchthatbaby This is just one way to make the sandwich. You may add an egg and breadcrumbs, if you like.

Darn!
I'm trying to make meatballs for tonights pizza (sliced meatballs as a topping) and we don't have the sausage up here in Canada in those tubes.
That explains so many recipes I've seen saying to use ground sausage so I'd be grinding small breakfast sausages with the kitchenaind.
Now I know what they meant hehe!
TakeSomeAdvice 2 years ago
I'm sorry you can't find sausage in casings in Canada. Maybe if you ask around a bit you'll find something similar. I hope so!
