I apologize if this is a repeated comment. But when an egg is bouncing around off walls you can hit it with your tongue to catch it. It's tricky, but if you pull it off it will make fighting the slime things with limited eggs much easier since you will be able to reuse the eggs.

Interesting fact. The battle with Tap Tap the Red Nose is similar to the final battle with Bowser in Super Mario Bros. 3. The only difference is that there's lava and Tap Tap cannot break the platforms. You have to this time. :)

@TheNathan89 No. 1-7 is the best place for lives. Just take a melon bug to the shy guy pipe and spit it out, hitting enough enemies to begin producing 1ups. Then set the melon bug in the opening and stand on the higher ledge. Then watch all the shy guys jump directly into the melon bug. Wait as long as you have the patience to. Best way to earn lives. Period.
