@chewbakage - Not unless your tripod head moves left and right; it's just a standard little tripod adapter for the iPhone. The base has a weak little ball-head, of course, but if you want to tilt/pan, you need a real or better tripod and head.

@geerlingguy one of the things i hate about other iPhone adaptors (for tripods) is that the phone needs to be taken out of its case (if you are using one, which i am) possibly into another case and when your finished the same process needs to be done to put it back... would i be able to use this adaptor without having to take my phone out of its case?

@SupaIs1 - As long as you don't have too crazy of a case, it'll fit. A bumper would fit, or most cases I've used. However, something like an OtterBox will be a little too large.

Can you move it around or does it stay in one position ?

@theenigmajeffhardy1 - It doesn't have a ball head or standard tripod head, if that's what you're asking. The only way to move it is to pick it up and move it :)

@jtkent28 Yeah, scratched the side of my iphone 4 (that I had kept in pristine condition for a year). However, you can mount in case just like in the video above. Wish I had seen this before I scratched the phone.

Probably the only reason why you would not want your youtube video to be a 1080p HD video is when you are flashing you social security card to the rest of the world.

@YeroProjects - I used the Nikon D90, and it was probably the 50mm f/1.4 lens (what I typically have mounted). I've since upgraded to a D7000.

@Meritis yes dude, ipod touch 4g would be good to use with it, thats what i will be doing, i got it from a place called ptsupermarket. check it out at ptsupermarket(.)com, then search iphone 4 tripod:)

it is a very good compact mount, just to warn you that it breaks easy..

on the right side of the mounting where you lock your phone. on the bottom part has a glued screw inside of it. it breaks and comes apart...you may glue it permanently to make it stay. but on the ther hand, it is very good tripod mount...
