This Cox bazar place used to be good about 40 years ago. Now it is like crap, trash, mud and loads and loads of people in polyester clothing hanging on this beach.
While this could be better with some 5 star resorts and private beaches, but heck, why should one visit this place instead of Pataya or the beaches on the Carribean.
Food sucks here, no Bar or Club or anything that is exiting.....I guess its O.K. for local folks and their standard
@istambel yup completely agreed......if u want a "western" experience dont come to cox bazar ...u will be very much disappointed...its not for traditional tourists!

In Cox'sBazar have many Hotels, Motels, Guest House. Almost hotel-motels are located just beside beachside. Some of these hotels are five star, some are three star and others hotels are guest house quality.

No it was not attacked my the 2004 tsunami, and if you go visit Bangladesh, any bus stop or train station could take you there, it might take several buses or train stops to get their though. But this place is truly amazing, in fact it is the longest sea beach in the world! And it is said to be one of the most scenic places on earth!
Holy mackeral! I just "LOVE" Cox's Bazaar!!! I wish I could live there!!! Alas, I just have to live in Dhaka for my studies! It's an absolutely amazing place!!! Love it!!!

I am not a critisizing at all - taste varies. Instead of John Denver and "West Virginia" (with all my respect for the singer and his home), you could have used Niaz Muhammad and "Rangamati'r rong". Just an advice.
oh what a video and what a song and it goes so well with the mood.. Cox's Bazaar IS the most beautiful place in Bangladesh..if only they had maintained it and taken care of it..I wish I was there right now..my friends actually went there yesterday!!
