She might have done it, but the state couldn't prove it. When there are explanations that point to guilt, but even one that points to innocence, the only lawful verdict is not guilty. Of course, if she was black, there's a much higher chance she would be on death row and if Troy was white, there's a much better chance he would be free.

The defense had the two but did not use them in his appeal but they did incriminate Troy to a degree.

As the days go by my eyes open up more and more to all the evils in this world . A innocent man was killed yesterday evening. Is this what they call JUSTICE? No fair trial but this was considered JUSTICE? No solid evidence ? No DNA evidence but this was JUSTICE ? Its sad to say they killed Mr. Troy Davis last night just because the mourning family was overdue for some JUSTICE. " May god have mercy on your souls . . " these were some last words by Mr. Davis. The reason Troy died is because he didn't have a good lawyer. If he was protected under a legal shield he won't be dead today. Base on my opinion I think every black family should be under a legal shield.

So after waiting for 20 yrs of finding the possibility of who shot the officer, they couldn't give Troy another Year of making sure it is him they want to kill in return? There was physical evidence, the bullet extracted from Michael Cooper's face, who was shot an hour prior to the cop, matched the bullet pulled from the cop. Michael Cooper says Troy Davis shot him, he didn't change his story. Even if Cooper was wrong that Troy pulled the trigger, Troy was still hanging out with the guy doing the shooting. He was also beating a bum. Not that a stupid FUCK like you could be bothered with facts

@MaCaFraMaLama74 Are you referring to Casey Anthony? That was one of the rare cases where the jury followed the law and held the prosecution to their burden. She might have done it, but the state couldn't prove it. When there are explanations that point to guilt, but even one that points to innocence, the only lawful verdict is not guilty. Of course, if she was black, there's a much higher chance she would be on death row and if Troy was white, there's a much better chance he would be free.

@LeytonLuva22 perhaps you over looked the part where they said there was no physical evidence, DNA, etc. 7 out of 9 witnesses recanted their original testimony stating they were coerced into them by the police. Please do your homework before you cry guilty!

@wakirisana1 No honey, do your homework. There were 34 witnesses. 7 recanted but only 2 of those were used during the trail and part of the 34. Also there was ballistic evidence that connected Troy both crimes and one he plead guilty. He also had Marks blood on his shorts. As I said, those 7 were not used and none of them officially recanted in court . Just off the books. The defense had the two but did not use them in his appeal but they did incriminate Troy to a degree.
