Even if the tobacco companies stopped making cigarettes and the like, it really wouldn't stop addicts from getting their fix. Just like in prohibition. Did making a law really stop anyone? They make it themselves. I don't like cigarettes either, or smoking of any kind, but sometimes you just have to let the people decide what's best for them. No one else can make that decision. Make as many commercials as you want, but the addicts will make the decision in the end.

Obesity kills 822 people per day, so why don't they throw 822 body bags infront of McDonalds... at least smokers are contributing to the health care system through tobacco taxes. And obesity related illnesses kill people at a younger age than tobacco relates illnesses.

Why are people always picking on the smokers? Obesity relate illnesses kill 300,000 people a year and noone seems to give a flying fuck about that. At least smokers are paying their way with tobacco tax, those lard arses on motorised scooters are clogging up the health system and paying shit all.

All of these negative comments on here are just from smokers who are nasty and bitter because they know that this is true. Smoking kills. And not just you, all the people you're smoking around too, and we're not even the ones who chose to do it. This commercial is disgusting, disturbing, and misleading. IT SHOULD BE BANNED from TV and the makers fined for putting out such a disgusting commercial. lol in a year or two? Someone needs to read up about smoking in relation to life expectancy. Smoking takes an average of 10yrs off your life (for a life long smoker) and those that quit before 30 live as long as a life long non smoker. So I've got plenty of years infront of me to enjoy that smooth, mild tobacco! :]
