So many talented musicians moved to Pakistan after the Partition that music also became divided. Only God can unite the musicians and the audience where everyone experiences divine ecstacy. Ustad Amanat Ali Khan sahib and hisson are both gone and it is a great loss for every music lover.

His understanding of the poetry is quite evident in his rendition and improvisation. He was no less than a scholar. His comprehension of music was awesome. Very good.
dear drwajih, pleased to see your comment. thats really true. i would like to add one more thing with understanding and comprehension, and that is his perfection in pronounciation a word and a persian term (tarkeeb e farsi), i am really impressed by him for this charactistic. because i noticed that even a number of top level singers sometimes pronounc wrongly. I agree he was a scholar.
