It does make you wonder why the days back then when life was simpler when we had this type of music, as compared to how lives are now with what they have to listen to. Would I go back in time to live in this era? Yep, I do it all the time when I visit classics like these. Sure brings back memories of talented groups, great music, melodies, words and times.

My daughter told him thats the music my mommy grandma and grandpa listen. To this day she will break out in song. Last week was Gladys night. If radio station would put more of the classics on I think the kids would be a lot less violent.

I know that prison guards are not susposed to care on a personal level, but obviously you do. I hope all the good you've put out there into the universe comes back to you many times over.

I am a corrections officer in the state prison and on my housing unit....when my 110 inmates are acting right i will sometimes surprise them and give a old school concert for them. You should see how they cheer up and get happy and the entire mood on the unit changes. I have mostly people from the 60s 70s era locked down on my unit. I got permission from the warden to do this when they act right. They love it and appreciate it too....i've seen some of them tear up when they hear this music.

went thru a miserable marriage, the first 10 yrs were great, the last 8 were horrible... held on just for my kids, waited til they were old enuf and able to be somewhat independant.....needless to say, i NEVER thought i could ever let anyone in so close again? but i have been seeing a beautiful woman in every sense for over a year now......i listen to this constantly because she is my shining star....and this tune just fits!! awesome awesome song....
