This is over heat problem, if you allready opened the x box, Try this, first clean the two memory chips with alcohol and q-tips make sure they are clean, then flip over the fans to get the air inside the x box and not to outside, you can buy 2 more fans and put them on the one of the sides of the x box to not get over heat.

Repair isn't always the end of it man...I just got my replacement two days ago and already it's down. The system boots up and I can hear all sounds, but no picture. It's not my connection either. XBox Support said it was a video card problem. I'm getting a PS3.

YEAH! i hate this, but see. mine had the ring of death, i used the towel trick. and then mine turned to the one light (lower right-hand quadrant) and then i disconnected and connected the HDD and it turned back to three red lights, and im waiting for the coffin to send my xbox to the graveyard =[

well thats great its arriving 2day. mine had this becuase the cable in the back was unplugged, all i did was turn it off and plugged the plug that connects to the tv. and it worked again. and it happened again but everything was plugged in. i just unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it worked again. i guess i was lucky.
