Coaching video bite GROW model using G

surely the goal needs relate to the coachee i.e. the guy in the video. All the conversation is about 'the other guy'. What is this persons issue and goal? You cant coach a third party.

If the objective of this video coaching sample is to show how to use G in the GROW, I would say that it did not achieve that objective. There was no goal statement that was formulated at the end of the conversation. In the first place, the purpose of the coaching conversation was not crystal-clear. The coach and the coachee must agree on what can be achieved during the coaching conversation given the limited time they have. In short, this coaching as a goalsetting exercise is incomplete.
