The name Easter was named after the pagan goddess Ishtar. The food that she ate to keep her immortal was the egg and the animal that was associated with her was the rabbit. Little do they realize that they are celebrating an old pagan tradition but yet they are Christians and just go on and on about how paganism is evil and should not be practiced but yet they will practice old pagan customs and celebrate pagan holidays themselves.
May 19, 1780 Nearly 230 years later, MU researchers combined written accounts and fire scar evidence to determine that the dark day was caused by massive wildfires burning in Canada. November 13th 1833 More specifically the 33 year peak of the Leonid meteor shower. Keep paying your dues to the church so they can keep making videos like these. I believe in God and Christ but who is to say that I am right. Although my believes are against Paganism why is it that their religion is older than mine?
Awesome video supported by bible verses. The only thing I don't understand (on another subject) is how does the sunday law affect the tribal natives living in the jungle? Please explain, I'm just trying to understand. God Bless
well, I would imagine that it wouldn't affect them because although the bible is not specific about what will begin the sunday law, we believe that something like a credit card which will keep track of everyone's status will determine if you are keeping sunday "holy" or not. so therefore, I would imagine that it wouldn't really affect the tribal natives because they don't obtain credit cards (or whatever it might be) and they don't affiliate with the rest of the ppl in this world... but we don't
know for sure. Though the bible does state that before the coming of the Lord, every nation will have heard about the gospel, but it also does explain that for some ppl in some areas of this world, its just not possible for them to hear of the good news, so they will be judged by God by what they do know and how they lived their lives, basically if they would have known about the 2nd coming, would they have praised God, or would they have denied him? Does that help at all?
And yes, the catholic church does critisize ALL ppl cuz they believe that u can only be saved if u get ur sins forgiven thru a priest! Therefore meaning, you can only go to Heaven if u r a catholic. But the bible (and specificially Jesus,) makes it very clear that there is only one way to Heaven and that is through HIM!(Isaiah 45:22, Acts 4:12, Isaiah 8:20 and many more)
I'm really sorry that you feel this video is critisizing... I did not meant for it to be that way! I meant for it to be as a warning for us all to prepare for the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ, because that time is so, very near :-)
As for SDA's critisizing. Once again, we don't meant for it to be that way, we only "critisize" what the bible clearly "critisizes", so therefore, we are only pointing out the word of God, which is meant to be shared to all...
Intresting video, I agreed in most parts but not all, and this video has alot of criticizm /condemnation, Jesus came into the world to save it not condemn it. You hear so much on Protestant/sda church's criticizing/condemning so much. Do you ever hear The Catholic Church criticizing? NO! we love all churches but they seem to hate us.
seventh day has half the truth...why remove the celebrating of God's feasts..which by the way are a foreshadow of Jesus's second coming. No wonder many will be deveived...look up His real name YAH and second of all keep his days with understanding
Hi katambalika~ We "remove" the celebrating of God's feasts because they were given only to the Jews and Jesus returned the 2nd time to spread the gospel to EVERYONE Jews AND Gentiles. And He also made everyone the same in Christ! At which He fulfilled those feasts and sacrifices as He Himself was the "true" sacrifice. So we therefore no longer need any of those feast of sacrifices because they "foreshadowed" His coming to earth the first time.
Just as we do not celebrate the sabbath on saturday, like you said, they"foreshadowed" His coming to earth the first time, it includes feasts, shaving of beards celebration of sabbath, and alotta other stuff. I'm not judging you not to celebrate the sabbath on saturday, however! To claim that Sunday is the mark of the beast, is flat out wrong, and where did you get that? in the Bible? I don't think so, it is man, not the Bible who has revealed this to you.
Please point out to me where it clearly states that all of the feasts and sacrifices in the OT lead up to His second coming because all of the scriptures that I read clearly mark them as "foreshadowing" His first coming to earth.
Also, His name can be translated to many different words. For example, my name Stephanie can be translated to diff languages but it doesn't change who I am or what my name is..
Keep His days with understanding? You mean the Seventh-day Sabbath? If so, I do every week..
may Jesus restore the world as his kingdom !!!!
hopefully he will come quickly en make it paradise
no more unbelievers pain suffering en sin
