I saw this show and I still think it stacks up pretty well. Let's face it Christian music is 95%maybe 96% pap, but Steve was a true class performer and it's great to see this again. Thanks for posting.
@redrose4Jesus he is directing movies now... he first feature file, The Second Chance, stars Michael W. Smith... he has also written a couple songs for Veggie Tales
I REALLY LIKED BARAK OBAMA (and voted for him) UNTIL I DISCOVERED HE ATTENDED AN ANTI-WHITE CHURCH FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS. THAT'S NOT GOD'S MESSAGE - GOD IS COLOR BLIND.
I hate racism - we're all the same species - we are all one.
Barak Obama is not just a compromiser, he is part of a lager societal organization that is in rebellion of God's laws like they always have been. Presidents, Ceos, Pastors proffessing Christianity is the only way they can get their plans to work aka; 'under the table'.
My name's Marcos. I'm from Brazil. I lived in the USA for 7 years. During this time the LORD JESUS blessed me so much with incredible concerts of terrific Christian singers and bands. Steve Taylor was one of them! I thank GOD for ministries such as Steve Taylor's. GOD bless you, Steve! GOD bless all you my dear American brothers and sisters in Christ JESUS! ENJOY GOD's music!
Thanks! Hey, I've met a couple Brazilians lately, and it seems like the Christians down there are doing pretty well. It's so great to hear about God doing great things all over the world! :)
I loved seeing these old Steve Taylor videos...I saw him in concert in his On the Fritz Tour with Sheila Walsh. This song really hits home with the scandal going on here in tulsa, ok at ORU. It's funny, because I have been a fan for over 25 years and now my 10 year old son is a huge fan.
Made a sandwich board for this as a small child in order to win tickets...saw the show anyway! I was a regular at Cornerstone, as well. Got several pics and autographs with him 1984-1994. Thanks for the Steve Taylor!
The first time I saw him live was about this same time. It was at TPAC in Nashville during GMA week prior to the Dove Awards. He electrified the audience. He has been consistently artistic, entertaining, personable, humble, and godly.
No, you're right. I saw that video when it premiered on Fish TV. It was a concept music video set to the Liver version of On The Fritz, and it was heavier.
I went to his concert when I was a teen. It was a blast. He had a trampoline on the stage to jump off of from time to time. Great way to use you ADD. I wasn't surprise to see his name on the credits of a News Boys video. I wonder what he's up to now. I hope he is still living his testamony. God speed Steve!
Steve is still working with the Newsboys. He workedd on their latest CD 'GO'. Check out the movie he made last year with Michael W Smith "Second Chance". It's awesome!
I miss Steve Taylor! I want some fresh stuff, but I must admit his stuff from the 1980s is timeless.

Love the Bowie hair and dramatic choreography! This was my favorite song as a kid growing up fundie.
I was a bit disappointed when he later did a more updated "90's sounding" version. It didn't match up at all.

THIS SONG COULD BE ABOUT BARAK OBAMA
He wished to right the wrongs
He sang religious songs
He kept the private he
under lock and key
