No shakeology is not worth the cost sorry. All you have to do is read the ingredient list. Also the reviews will tell you the same. All the coaches will tell u it's worth it because they make money from u buying it from beachbody MLM program.
The other creator of Shakeology has been featured NBC and in Oprah's magazine so that should tell you about the quality of the shake itself. And its obvious you haven't had an educated look in to the ingredients of the shake itself or witnessed what the medical community have to say about the amazing contents of it.
I'll trust one of the top fitness companies in the U.S., the best trainers and all the doctors (including one who co-invented the artificial heart)!
What a load of BS! You sell this stuff on your website, Beachbody LLC is in the business of making money and that's why they price a 160 calorie "suppliment" drink at $4 per drink = $120 per month = $1440.00 per year and have people like you telling BS stories claiming the CEO's wife is coincidentally "one of the best around the world" at creating meal replacement nutritional drinks... Stop lying to people to get their money.
@livedavid2 The only way you can say it's overpriced is to know the actual value. It's not just ingredients, it's research and formulation, sampling and testing (they test EVERY batch that goes out), marketing, etc. I've seen it replicated with raw ingredients and the cost is about 4x what you'd pay for a bag.
@probotic You can make your own health shake. Some of the ingredients in shakeology aren't particularly obscure. Like flax seed meal and chia seed meal. Even some of the South American ingredients are getting easier to find. A quick google search turned up maca root powder on amazon. I am sure I could find a number of good shake ingredients in the supplement isle at my local mega mart.
In several recent interviews, Tony Horton says that he's tried it but doesn't usually drink it. They're celebrity trainers! They can afford to have fresh veggies and organic foods every day and have someone prepare it for them.
