@Airsoft1287 Obviously the .177 metal BB's are not for airsoft or less-than-lethal use. There is a 6mm version of the Strafer available which can be safely used for airsoft and/or less-than-lethal applications.
@shoopwhoopX The Strafer uses Co2 or High Pressure Air and has only one moving part, so it is not mechanical per se and allows for the high rate of fire.
@Roflzmahwoflz The Strafer has been used in airsoft skirmishes successfully before but at closer ranges I would recommend the velocity to be set to the field's CQB limits if not lower and the shooter must exercise lots of muzzle discipline and trigger control to limit exposure of the target to the BB's.
@Alfourthousand The Piper's Precision Products Strafer Mark 4 has a rate of fire of between 125 - 175 rounds per second depending on the input air pressure.
The .177 caliber version of the Strafer cannot be used for airsoft wargaming or less-than-lethal purposes. Only the 6mm version using plastic airsoft BB's is suitable for those roles.
@XcaliberTactical not talking about arisoft war gaming im talking about gettin drunk on a friday night and fucking around with my friend bb gun and doing stupid dares, i think this gun would make a very good dare
The Strafer Mark 4 in 6mm is undergoing testing and evaluation for use in correctional facilities. This particular model nor any that uses the metal BB's are not for less-than-lethal or airsoft skirmishing use!
The Strafer Mark 4 Model 0 is capable of between 250 - 600 FPS with plastic airsoft BB's and about 250-425 FPS using metal .177 BB's (which aren't for wargame or less-than-lethal use).
feel free to tell me if im wrong, but i thought that the .177 was going to be sold to police for prison riot control or something along those lines. That, or just for ruining stuff and looking cool
.177 metal rounds are too dangerous for less-lethal use so we'd only recommend the plastic airsoft 6mm BB's for that role instead. A concentrated burst of .177 metal BB's has the potential to burrow and bore through soft tissue!
idiot....

Could it reach over 1000 fps with a 6mm .88g bb's?
Fotenks 1 year ago
@Fotenks The Strafer Mark 4 is capable of 250 - 625 FPS using 6mm plastic airsoft BB's. With metal .88g 6mm BB's, the maximum velocity is 425 FPS.
Thank you!

who cares wat the fps is with that firerate :)
Ptownairsoft 1 year ago
I noticed on the website it said max fps of 625fps. Is there a way to get it up over 1000fps?
Fotenks 1 year ago
@Fotenks In its current configuration and based on today's technology, the Strafer Mark 4 cannot exceed 625 using plastic BB's safely.
Thank you!
