  • aaargh, excuse me, *gesundheit, I made a typo. (as someone of German descent I am shamed) Good thing I don't have to do data entry for a living, I would blow it, don't type fast enough and accurate at the same time.

  • I say gesundhiet, the rest of my family prefers the traditional bless you, as does the majority, am I weird? - Nadine 22/Maine

  • I say God bless you.. and if someone says that he prefers me not to, I try to never say it again.

It's habit, but I am not out to offend anyone. I live with Buddhists and never say a word when they sneeze. Every time someone sneezes I catch myself and stay silent.

  • The good old German gesundheit which means health. Unlike the god bless you, where they assume there is a god and he gives a shit about a piece of dust or something flying up your nose.

    So Gesundheit!

  • @mts198

    I use Gesundheit-in the PHILIPPINES!

  • I say Gesundheit, always have, always will. I don't believe that your heart stops when you sneeze due to a demon entering it or whatever crap people have come up with.

    Soooo Gesundheit dude

  • Gesundheit, cause I live in Germany :P

  • Wow!!! Bless you man!!!! That was a real sneeze!!!

  • I say Gesundheit, for one me being Satanist / Vampire I myself do not believe in "blessing" someone. Just my thoughts lol

  • I say bless you.

  • gesundheit

    makes more sense

  • Bless you!, are you ok? that was strong. of course I bless people when they sneeze. Well only to men is a tradition

  • Thanks. I am fine. I appreciate that. Why only to men as a tradition? What do you do when women sneeze?
