When do Crowned Pearlscales grow their Wen or Crown? I have a female albino Pearlscale goldfish and she's 2 inches long including her tail. She's living with a Black Moor (Houston, so cute!) who's about 2 3/4 inches (he's been growing faster than Pearl) and it looks a bit like Pearl is growing a little cap. VERY slight bump that's growing.
yeah I'm starting to nottice thatthey are growing back normal. THAT SUCKS! Can they still show with some missing scales or will points get knocked off?

@LilShortAznKiddo The one with the head bubble is a Crown Pearl scale. Yours is probably just a Pearl scale.

My new show pearlscale lost a few pearls! Will they ever grow back the same? A book told me that they will grow back as normal scales. Is this true?

Plump pretty fish.
They were swimming in their poop.
It gave the illusion of decorative grass or flower petals until I looked closer. :P
