Actually, this song used in Tetris is a Russian folk song called "Korobeiniki" (you can find it on YouTube too). It's much older than the game itself :)

This was brilliant live! I loved the lone piano part. It really made everyone laugh in the crowd. I didn't realise just how Russian this song sound until the presenter said the maker of 'Tetris' was from a time in Russia when Communism was in it's prime!
