  • If the price is too high, then eventual price drop will be to late to late to save newspapers. I which case, they should use exisiting e-reader or e-reader based platform.

    What I would like to know is, are all e-ink displays this slow at updating? I absolutely love them looking like... well. paper... but say I am scrolling a manual I want it to be instant, the 2+ second delay will not do it any favours...

    I'm sure people will say "get an iPad" when it comes out... but I really want a large e-ink display - that is responsive.

  • @LeClassics Eink is slower. It's for reading ... how long do you need to get to the next paperback book (less than 2 seconds). I just press sooner and read to the end.

  • Zooming, tapping, magnifying, content displayed like HTML- it looses it's appeal in my opinion. I want an ereader to behave like a book, no moving text- real basic turn the page, read turn the next page. Before we know it it'll become a black and white laptop.
