I love Ramana Maharshi but why are people wasting food like this. Can you imagine a lower caste hindu doing these rites in a temple....

these offerings are given as blessed prasad (food offering) during lunch or dinner (depending from the time of the pooja). Nothing gets wasted.

The singing, words and music are beautiful - the singing seems to have been 'cut short' - is there another more complete rendition of this glorious hymn to the Maharshi?

@pratinus He is God, as you are. There have been stories of Bhakti worshipers that were making offering to the deities and suddenly recognized their own true nature and suddenly offered themselves the offerings. All is the Self. There is nothing wrong here. Read advaita.
