bout to tear out eyes and balls, yet nobody seems to take note or see a thing flirring.flarring , fluttering, flirting, fumbling the preceptors brainsn .... aah well , dope to daddy
I hung out with Simon in DC once night, I never mentioned the band, or the fact that looked just like Robert, nor did he. We had a bunch of beers, some White Castle burgers and just really enjoyed hanging out, The Cure is beyond my favorite band ever, no one comes close tho them.
Good job. It's cool to see some of the different incarnations of the band in one video. They are and always will be undefinable by anything other than just incredible.
Its just A Cure for alot of things... Very Very Very Powerful music!! Hidden messages that make you realize once you listen to it enough! Thanks Robert and the rest!!
I consider myself lucky that I started listening to the Cure from the beginning in the early 80's. They've been there for me most of my life...how great is that?
ON THE MOVIE ENTITLED EVENT HORIZON, WHEN THEY ARE EXPLORING THE MYSTERY OF THE COCKPIT/WHATEVER, SLOW DOWN THE GORY SCENE AND THE DUDES RIPPED OUT HIS EYES AND OFFERS THEM FORTH THEN THIS SONG OCCURS TO ME AND WHATEVER WHATEVER WHATEVER
I agree.. Robert is a genius..in 1983 when I first heard The Cure ( thank you, Lance, RIP) I had no way of imagining I would have The Cure loaded into an IPod in 2012.. a few years ago all I listened to was Indian kirtan (and The Cure), no I listen to Thai rock(and The Cure).. through the last 30years the one thing that has been constant is THE CURE.. Robert Smith puts into words what we all feel , but cannot express, then we say "why didn't I say that?" Robert Smith.. genius..I agree!
Exelente tradução...me fez chorar hoje,rs...

@Arkonaid very well said...even the critics find it so hard to identify their genre...they call them goth, post-punk, pop rock...new wave...alternative rock...but they failed.
well said onemidnightgone. i feel the same way. this song always makes me picture walking about aimlessly in the english countryside under a grey cloudy sky...occasionally i still have those days where i just feel a bit disconnected from reality and this song describes it perfectly

@agenthelios1 I love The Cure, and i think Adele made the cover because she loves them to, not because she was trying to hurt your ears. You can't even point out what you don't like about her cover, and just comment on her weight which has nothing to do with her music. If you don't like her cover then don't listen to it.
...get those horrible Boris pics out of there, he wasn't in the band at the time of the song....Boris was just a blip in time in The Cure timeline....Jason served twice as long....and Andy was a better drummer, he did The Top, and Lol was brilliant.....
@xTheWolfman1991 Robert Smith was the most adorable, sweetest guy ever. His accent and eyes, and hair etc..he still has it going on. It was an intense moment.
To me, one of the very best Cure songs with Charlotte Sometimes and Play for Today, and one of my all time favourites, it still makes me feel like the first time I heard it back when I was 13 and Pornography was released, it changed my musical taste, and therefore my life, forever.
im really sad you had to go get involved with jocks. i grew up with the cure, and all the jocks were assholes, and here you are prancing around in a fucking jersey

@agenthelios1 I dont like her cover version of it either but i still like her music. Its totally rude of you to call her a fat creature. im sorry not everyone fits YOUR image of beautiful.
ON A SIDE NOTE The Cure is my fav band of all time :D
I freaking love the guitars in this track---I swear I cannot pick a fave song by The Cure--it would be too difficult (spelled right? LOL) I love SO many songs by this awesome band--thanks for posting!
Let's not be mean now, Adele's original work is actually quite good. It's this negative idea towards being fat that makes girls force themselves to throw-up after all.
Please, I'm not saying you need to like the song, let's just be fair about it and judge her by her music, not her appearance.
I can only say that aside from the wonderful music the lyrics to every song are well worth absorbing. Its been years and i still cant stop listening to these guys Long Live the CURE1111111
