@cutewhensassy I don't know what to say. This is a book written several years ago by Lauren Bacall. Others have referenced the same testimony. A friend and I discussed it. Maybe it was edited out later. As I stated, I read it myself and never forgot it. I am not judging someone else's handling of a loved ones sickness and their grief. I just felt loyal to Bogart in this instance.
@mvies77 I just went to Google and in Wikipedia it states her autobiography By Myself was published in 1978. That is the one I read. It also says that it has been updated and republished. I still stand by what I read. I cannot deny what I read with my own eyes and others have seen also. I wish more than anything it was not true and always wondered why she felt it necessary to tell all.

This romatisised documentary of Bacall and Bogart is not at all true - of course.
Bogart had affairs while beeing married to Bacall. And Bacall kept up to him and had her own affairs.
Like it has been written before in the comments she had an affair with sinatra and was - allegedly- NOT there when Bogart died.

@mvies77 I've read it, but it doesn't say she had an affair with him at all. They got closer as friends. That's it. No affair.
