It may be possible. I know to get a 01 I had to press the button not the frame the mark appeared, but a frame earlier when the music stopped. Since it requires complete guesswork, I didn't check if you could press one earlier...
in all technicality, yeah tool assisted doesn mean you cheated, it's a vastly unfair advantage. against the AI, I call it fair, against another player I say it's unfair.
but good scores. I think I scored over 201 though once.
Personally, I still don't see it as cheating. Truely, it's a very unfair advantage, but I'd relate it to a formula 1 racing a hatchback, or a heavyweight fighting a lightweight. Not cheating, but any win is pretty pointless. I only consider it cheating if you break the rules, and by its very nature, a TAS plays perfectly within the rules of the game.
technically slowing time down in a game thats all about whos faster would be considered breaking the rules just saying it did look pretty epic though ^^
it's still within the rules OF THE GAME, not necessarily the rules you and your friends come up with when beating the tar out of each other. I never said it was fair to someone not doing it, but it doesn't do anything in the game that isn't normally possible, if improbable. I honestly should have seen the cheating debate coming. I'm putting a link in the description box and not dealing with it any more.
