martin messed up!!! .. i didnt notice it when it was live but at 2:12 you can tell the guitar part goes from 5 to 7 to 4 then to 3 but its supposed to go from 7 straight to 3 .. he briefly messed up but fixed it .. its in drop d so when i say 5 7 and 3 i mean bottom three strings

it was loud enough for me to catch the mistake .. they had a lot of problems during this show but it shouldnt stop them from being good .. a good band copes with the problems and doesnt mess up .. i know blg is a good band but i was upset over this particular performance of theirs

well, tonight i actually had my 1st live band performance and i discovered 1 thing; you hear alot more from the crowd than from stage, so he probably needed to be turned up so he could hear himself. plus, its not that the problem made him mess up; he threw his arm up in the air signaling for them to turn up. that is what messed him up. but everyone will mess up. no band is perfect.

but i do agree it wasn't their best ever, but at least while it was happening, i didn't notice and i loved it

well i dont think they really hear the crowd as much as you do because they wear "in ears" which makes them hear like their instruments and their singing and stuff and basically eliminates crowd noise so they know how they are playin and stuff like where they are in a song and timing .. ive seen them before with no mess ups .. bands will mess up but not when theyve been touring for three years with the same songs ..

but its not like they're messing up because they don't know the music; it doesn't matter how well you know something. accidents and mistakes DO happen. everybody messes up for some reason or another. experience has nothing to do with it. constant perfection is almost impossible.

i mean, i've seen Green Day mess up on their last tour. its in their bullet in a bible cd/dvd. they're an amazing band who've been around like 5 times longer than boys like girls. everyone messes up.

yeahhh...i definitely agree, but as far as guitar mistakes go, EVERY guitarist makes numerous mistakes at like every show, with the intensity of the show and moving around and focusing on everything, espicially when you sing AND play, its hard to hit every note.
