you can see rockson in his fathers corner against his fight with funaki in 2000 and he also appeared in a short documentary following that fight so he probably died from the motorcycle accident reported by the police
All bias aside, Rickson's verifiable record is 11-0, not 400-0. Out of those 11 wins, only 1 was against a top 10 opponent in Funaki. The rest were cans, all these vale tudo tournaments were full of cans. The level of competition in these tournaments was laughable and any top MMA guys today would embarrass these guys. Not saying Rickson is not a good fighter, but you'd be crazy to call him the best or one of the best in the world. And why didn't he fight Sakuraba who defeated every other Gracie?

Emelianenko is not invincible, he had a hard time defeating Cro Cop and Minotauro, the thing is, he's fighting weak fighters, in the octagon there are plenty of top guys, strikeforce is all about B fighters, in the UFC, he would face guys like, Frank Mir, Cain Velazquez, Junior "Cigano" dos Santos, Mauricio Rua, Victor Belfort,Brock Lesnar, Shane Carwin,Anderson Silva( on a catch weight) , Frank Shamrock, Roger Gracie and many others...

Was sorry to hear about the passing of his son. I knew of this for some time. Nothing can be more painful than to lose one's own child. What I didn't know was that this was the reason why Rickson stopped competing. I can certainly understand him and wish him my condolences.

Go buy Choke and look at the scene where he is messing around with Rickson, when Rickson asked to show him an armbar. His technique was flawless. He was just a little kid when it was filmed. All of the Gracies are really good.

Was sorry to hear about the passing of his son. I knew of this for some time. Nothing can be more painful than to lose one's own child. What I didn't know was that this was the reason why Rickson stopped competing. I can certainly understand him and wish him my condolences.

if you doing your own research you will see it´s a myth. around 200 of these 400 fights were no "real" fights, just training matches.
in their own game they are the best, yes. but fighting is more than just ground game. i said it and i say it again: vs. fedor i wouldn´t put a dime no any of the gracie brothers, don´t matter which of them.
fedor evolved as a fighter, he was a traditional sambo wrestler, but became a very good striker as well. all gracie´s are worst strikers.

Like the caption said, he hasn't fought since Rockson died. A friend of mine saw Rockson, I think it was at Relson Gracie's school in Hawaii, at the time Rockson was a 16 year-old brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Sad....
