  • U no as much as I love Zelda and the stories the timeline sucks

  • But wait, the four swords games have to be placed after minish cap, or else the four sword wouldnt have existed, plus the fact that the four sword isnt ever mentioned after fsa means they both have to be directly after minish cap

  • I kind of disagree with the two Ganons theory. Ganon(dorf) wasn't killed with a silver arrow in TP. Wouldn't it then possible that he regenerated himself by sealing himself away or regenerated himself and was sealed away in a game that hasn't been made yet?

  • Lancun, I have a problem with your Bi-Ganondorf theory.

In Ocarina of Time when Sheik turns into Zelda a cut scene occurs and she says something along the lines of:

"If once with a balanced heart touches the triforce he shall acquire the true force. But if one does not have a balanced heart the triforce will split and he will be left with the piece that he values most." But here comes the important bit! "If that one wishes to acquire the true force he must seek out the other 2 shards."

  • I like to consider that there are unspoken of gaps between certain titles where potential new games can fit into. I understand that Nintendo develops these gameplay first & story second, but there has to be some attention always given to certain plot elements that are maintained over several titles. This is why I was one of those people that put the Oracles in separate timelines occurring both at once; an as yet to be discovered plot device from a potential new game.

  • Gah, confusing!!!!

  • Four Swords Adventures could take place after Spirit Tracks because there both toon Links and also Zelda and Link already know each other plus the Four Swords Advenchure TAKES PLACE ON AN ISLAND which is called Hryul

  • My Head just Got a Migrainer but thank you so much,I love the Zelda Series

  • I'm so freakin confused!!!!

  • did you know that vatti is the second most awsome video game charectar in videogame history

  • skyward sword beware

  • Skyward sword will completely fuck your timeline up :|

  • @wemadeyou1234 I don't see how it would. Skyward Sword is known to take before everything else out already, so everything gets pushed forward, but in the same order. I suppose Vaati could come around, if he is the Sealed One, since Ghirahim has a similar style. In that case, Minish Cap would stay the first.

  • @wemadeyou @ooo9469 1234 no skyeward sword is the story of the original the very first link and the creation of hyrule and the master sword

  • werent twin nova in majoras mask

  • IF I go with everything else you've said so far, I must say the Oracle games go AFTER Links Awakining.

Think about it, Link was on the boat after leaving Hyrule in ALttP, suddenly after this storm he has visions of fighting Ganon and the Wizard again, and hurries back home to check on the triforce.

However I think even that is asdg because Zelda doesn't know Link in OoX. You could say different Zelda but to that I saw screw it all

  • what game is the music that starts at 2:29 from

  • dude if you want to put four swords adventures before link to the past, then at least put four swords before it

  • @MBlueFlame Four Swords is before Four Swords Adventures. He has Four Swords before Ocarina of Time, which is before Four Swords Adventure. Four Swords Adventure is a sequel to Four Swords, but it's not a direct sequel so there's a bit of a time gap.

  • but the gap between four swords and four swords adventures is so ridiculous its stupid, his new timeline is better

  • @FollowerofChrist12x koume and kotake in MM have no substantial evidence to be the exact same witches. wouldnt they be super mad at link?? and they are in a different land (yes they could have moved) but they are just potion shop/picture minigame clerks in termina going about their business

  • @howarda1000 Link goes back in time to when he is a kid, so Koume and Kotake dont ever remember fighting him, because it hasnt happened yet. Do people even use their brains nowadays? -_-

  • @anXboxNinja i fully understand that, and im the first to use my brain in any discussion so no need to try that tactic. my point was that they are different than koume and kotake from OoT. theyre just regular potion makers. termina is a different dimension that link is wandering trying to find navi. i believe there is no link to hyrule. thats just how i explain it since it says right on the box and everyone agrees its a different world than hyrule.

  • @howarda1000 Well, you certainly weren't using your brain there. Even if they are the same Witches, you went back in time to when Ganon is sealed away, so Ganon was never there to influence Koume and Kotake, therefor they are going about their business. But that's besides the point, since you thought that Koume and Kotake would be mad at you even though you went back in time, so you never killed them. So even if it is a parallel universe, they are still the exact same, so it doesnt matter.

  • @anXboxNinja since its a prallel dimension, i say they are a mirror of the koume and kotake from hyrule but they have led different lives and yea theres no ganon to influence them. hes sealed. i was just trying to explain to FoC12x that they arent the same so there isnt an issue with them being in MM at all, thats what i believe so it would seem we stand on different sides of an even bigger matter so to have a logical discussion about this would be impossible, but thanks for getting me to think

  • Nintendo has stated that they have a timeline.

  • @nelsonator687 Really?

  • @ThoseKokiriKids Yes they have, but even is they did in fact have a timeline, I'm of the opinion that they will never reveal it.

Also, if they have one, they must be picking spots for games in the timeline at random >_>

  • @RekiWylls ah,im lost.

    in 2010 i heard they dont.now they do -_-

  • @ThoseKokiriKids Long time ago (don't recall when), Nintendo said they had a "master timeline" of sorts. I stopped caring about what Nintendo had to say about the timeline about then, so I never bothered to see if they retracted that statement.

  • @RekiWylls ah i see.thanks

  • Still convinced of accuracy.

  • @Lancun another piece of evidence supporting FSA coming before LTTP is that in the game boy re- released game in the temple of the four sword inside the pyramid of power we find the four sword broken suggesting Ganon broke out and claimed the triforce ( also the dark realm in FSA could be the same as the one in LTTP explaining why the temple of the four sword is in the dark realm

  • u should try watching the Gametrailers Version of this timeline (Legend of Zelda Retrospective Part 6) it will realy give you some ideas on y ur timeline COULD be wrong

  • but i must also add man, this timeline is my favorite. this is the most accurate one on youtube, i dont care what anyone says. keep up the great work! =)

  • FS is the same Link/Zelda as the one from FSA. The creators used to say that it was the earliest game but that's now changed because FSA was delayed due to story changes. Me thinks the addition of Ganondorf in FSA moves FS to right before that game. once again, the Link and Zelda in those games are THE SAME!!!

  • I think that ganon is is the pig because he was sealed that way

  • Something just dawned on me, that perhaps the Link from FSA is the father or the Link from LttP?

  • who ever thinks zelda is the best game ever

  • @sasienyuy meee

  • I I would personally take the four swords and Minish cap games out of the rest of the timeline and place them into their own timeline...I'm still thinking about this concept though.

  • @ResidentEvil3030 Yeah I'm staying by this concept...it just seems weird to me that the Four Sword/Picori blade is never mentioned in non-Four Sword games, and vice versa with the Master Sword. It would be even weirder to say that the blades are the same because it would be stupid to call it by different names...unless they both represent the same concept of a legendary blade. That's why I think the Four Sword Titles aren't in the same timeline as the rest of the series, but are parallel to it.

  • take note if you get the master sword veran and onyx are extremely easy to beat so a link with the master sword and it being powered up would make onyx and veran not even compare to a darknut

  • Owww owwww my brain is hurting

  • The Four Swords Adventures on the Gamecube is interesting... perhaps it takes place after the original Four Swords for the GBA? Perhaps this Ganon is the first Ganon, considering he doesn't have any piece of the triforce and there is no mention of it.... then maybe Ganon possess's Ganondorf because (maybe) Ganondorf is born with the Triforce of Power... Ganon sees this as his opportunity to acquire the other pieces of the triforce, thus possessing Ganondorf and then going after Zelda and Link.

  • you suck

  • Four Swords Adventures was actually originally intended to be the Imprisoning War that's talked about in A Link to the Past, perhaps showing that the Ganon in ALTTP is different than the one in OOT, because it would show that the events of OOT are in fact not the events of the Imprisoning War.

  • so far i agree with everything, well explained and very logical. Unless for the original zelda games, i suspect that even if Ganon dies (for the first time?) in Zelda 1 after WW, does not confirms that Zelda 2 is a direct sequel to Zelda 1. Ganon could revive in any timeline (so even AFTER Link's Awakening). Specially with Twinrova still alive in that child timeline and not in the adult one . I think we'll get more information with upcoming games .

  • consider this; there was meant to be a THIRD oracle game...

  • Respectfully, I disagree with your placement of the Oracle games. "The Master sword sleeps again... forever" does not mean "until some random oracle named after one of the goddesses decides to magically turn Link's sword into it". If there is a way around that statement, go ahead and suggest it, and I would be fine with the placement, but no game with the master sword can happen after ALttP because the master sword sleeps forever after the game.

  • @handheldgamer144 All I can say on this subject is reiterating what I said to another post. "For ALttP and Oracles, there's a lot in the Oracles that I question. Yes you get the MS, but you enter a password and some guy gives it to you, so I question whether or not it's anything but an easter egg. The Noble Sword is the one with the story in those games." Basically, the Master Sword's presence in that game is more for the player's benefit, and in no way is it treated like it usually is.

  • @Lancun hey some people dont get is that in the child timeline twin roba are not dead because zelda send link back in time he never kill them but in the adult he did so thats why they still alive

  • @Lancun did vatii(idk how to spell this, this evil god) is bat like creature? soul of gannon was shown as bat so maybe gannon was mortal version of evil god which tried to stole triforce of power from din?(i know that doesn't makes any sence but its thought which just hitten me with bat)

  • @handheldgamer144 maybe because its a master sword from that world not the real world

  • has anyone ever thought of the fact that maybe...both timelines have all the games...just the events that cause them each are different...like...both lines are parallel yet opposite...on one, one game happens before it does on the other side of the timeline and vice versa

  • If I'm correct I remember seeing the two witches in a shop in Majoras Mask or some other title. Is this true?

  • @Orbits20Productions yes, they own the potion shop.

  • has anyone noticed aganhim has vaatis symbol?

  • ...w...wut?

  • I just became braindead.

  • MY BRAINS ARE GUNNA EXPLODE

  • I suck at timelining, though i'll never believe the minish cap is first

  • the art for the triforce glowing above a cliff looks very new age cult-esque

  • Where the heck did his trident come from?

  • @HeyyAndyy From some pyramid in the gerudo desert I think.

  • My twinrova theory:Dies in adult part of Ocarina.Lived in the swamp near clock town in child timeline.Became followers of Ganon.Appear in Oracles to fight Link.There.Twinrova!

  • Another Question. If Four Swords Adventures takes place after TP, Why is this Link randomly using the Four Sword instead of the Master Sword which still exists Because the next Link uses it. My Brain hurts SO much.

  • Wait Im confused. After discovering their new Hyrule why would they go back to the old one after Spirit Tracks. Is it because thats where Zelda hid them from Ganon or... What?

  • *Wind Mage not wind God. ;]

Though I have to admit it's very nice to see a timeline I can follow and agree with..

    Kudos to you :3

  • TO continue. The happy mask salesman is put there because he is the closest related person to masks in LoZ. Now twin rova (or how it's spelt. In OOT twin rova are evil old hags who link kills and with there dying breath they say "We will haunt you!" Agin influencing links dream. But in the dream they are passive potion makers who live in the swamp. So if they were evil then why would link help them. Because it's dream. Nothing in a dream is truly normal. That's all I can think of right now. >_<

  • My view on majoras mask: Timeline A after OOT: Link goes to the lost woods to search for navi. As we know from OOT, any boy who enters the lost woods will turn into a skull kid. Majoras mask is all actually mental battle between link and what force is trying to turn him into a skull kid. That is why he faces a skull kid. Various things in OOT affect links "Dream". In OOT skull kid says "DO you think my face is plain?" Or something along those lines. That's why link imagines up the majoras mask.

  • @ChibiLMCM Actually they turn into Stallfos...hm...there's what may be a Stallfos teaching Link sword techniques in TP.

  • I thought that links awaking was after wind waker? It kinda make more sense :P

  • Sorry, but Skyward Sword just screwed your pre-ocarina of time minish and four swords. Because Skyward sword goes over the creation of hyrule, and the master sword is created here.

  • Agonan didn't serve ganon, he was controlled, so if Ganon was dead, Agonan wouldn't be a servent anymore, so I don't know why you would fight him in Orical.

  • One thing we need to remember is the fact that there could be other games to bridge certain gaps. It is even possible that the timeline split occurs in a different game.

  • But, Link in OoT kill Twinrova, so how is it after it?

  • @iwrestledabearoncee They were killed in the adult timeline (B) but remain alive in the child timeline (A).

  • what ordor do i play them all?

  • @JGPiner Any way you want. I'd prefer Ocarina of Time first, though.

  • @JGPiner What ever you want :)

  • Makes sense in regards to the place of the 8 bit Zelda's and the 2nd Four Swords...the first one I assumed was non canon. Aren't Twinrova Gerudo? given their initial local and similar dress and skintone to Ganondorf?

  • (countinued) when they found out about his death they attempted to revive the original from OoT. this causes the events of the Oracle titles. so Lan, do you think my idea makes any sence? I would like to hear back from you.

  • I believe that the Twinrova in MM is the same as the ones in OoT. the reason why? well, it is obvious that it is possible to travel to Termina from Hyrule. now, why would they be nice to Link? well, I think that they left Hyrule to Termina before the events of OoT. then when Ganondorf came to power during the 7 year gap they came back to support him. since in Hyrule A they never were summoned back by Ganon, they did not know of his execution and sealing. later they found out of the events in TP

  • @Lancun I've always seen Ganon as the actual deity, and Ganondorf as a being he possessed at birth. They were both born at about the same time...Ganon is the remnants of the darkness in Minish Cap and Ganondorf is the born king of the Gerudos. With this, there is no need for a second Ganon, but since he lost the triforce he needs a new power source...THE TRIDENT!

  • I have just one issue with your timeline. Why does the four sword just dissappear between FS and FSA? And if MC and FS are before OoT, how come we don't see the Four Sword in the other timeline?

  • Hey on to Skyword Sword, huh? haha

  • Your Theory of the Link's Awakening being Sequal to Ages/Seasons makes so much sense

  • Well for myself, I think that Vaati (aka the wind god) is actually possed by ganon's spirit. Pretty much like Agahim in Alttp. And it all comes from the damn stupid hat! which Ganon enter or some bull shit that skyward sword may or may not all elucid. But one thing is the end of 4 swords adventures! Ganon just gets out of Vaati's body! and they make a seal AGAIN which means Ganon was not in the sacred realm because it is not the master sword, but the picori/ four sword which he was sealed INSIDE

  • Anyone notice that agahnim has the eye ball on his chest like the ones you have to shoot the arrows

  • I think Agahnim is the original Ganondorf.

  • Could the FSA Link possibly be the Uncle to the Link of ALttP?

  • I like Vaati more than Ganondorf :)

I wish he would return (With the same appearance as minish cap)

  • @Ninjazap1

I so wanted him in SS... Who knows though, maybe we'll still see him.

I still remeber when I though Ghirahim was Vaati... But I do still have a theory about this:

Ghirahim and Vaati do look alike, and Ghirahim is supposed to be part of a tribe. So my theory is that Vaati may be part of the same tribe. We haven't seen anybody from that tribe except Ghirahim yet, so you never know. It could be the origins of Vaati, putting this game before MC.

  • @HeroOfTimeProd (Character limit...)

Alothough this is my theory, I seriously doubt it... Mainly because I do NOT put MC, FS, and FSA anywhere near the beginning.

In fact, as of now my timeline is SS, OOT (Child) MM, TP, ALTTP, OOX, LA (Adult) WW, PH, ST, MC, FS, FSA, LOZ, AOL.

  • @Ninjazap1 yeah vatti is outstanding

  • @Ninjazap1 he did return in skyward sword! but with different appearance.

  • Is FSA, not a direct sequel to FS?

I was under the impression that it was.

  • ok how can the master sword be destroyed and created into the 4 sword then turned back.......... ok the master sword after aLttP was destroyed and thus it became the 4 sword so ur wrong there

  • Comment removed

  • Lancun theory's #1 FAN

  • Comment removed

  • I have two questions. 1:Moblins have been with the series since the very beginning and I heard once that they were created by Ganon in his own image. He's a pig monster and so are they. Is this true?

  • Much like how every princess of Hyrule is known as Zelda, every king of the Gerudo may be known as Ganondorf. It would be over 100 years since the death of Ganon in Twilight Princess (probably), so there would likely be a new king of the Gerudo now. Ganondorf Dragmire may not even be a Gerudo, he may have just changed his name to Ganondorf because he respects the first Ganondorf. Maybe.

  • Thumbs up if you want vaati in skyward sword!!!!!!!

  • i just want you to clear one thing up hoping you will so what your saying is that the story in four swords adventre is the war spoken about in a link to the past if so i can buy that i just want to know if thats what your saying just trying to get all the facts hear

  • Ganondorf resurrected Volviga in Ocarina of Time

  • so the one game missing is the one between FSA and LttP where Ganon gets released from the Four Sword and imprisoned in the Golden Land by the 7 wise men

  • @EkulTheKing

Basically what I mean is that the triforce sends Link on quests that increase his balance in the triforce. It makes sense to me that this could be called a "quest of enlightenment"

  • @Lancun

I have more evidence for alttp/OoX/LA

In LA it mentions that link was out on "a quest of enlightenment"

Since link normally displays courage, which is associated with farore, maybe it isn't coincidence that the oracles in the games are din and nayru.

  • I Think that the oracles go after LTTP also because at the end of LTTP, Link takes the triforce, the intro is probably a rough 8-bit translation of that scene, and then it moves to LA.

  • but alttp has to be on the adult timeline because it takes place after ganondorf's conquest of hyrule and therefore the oracle games go on the adult timeline

  • Hmm...in LoZ: Skyward Sword Link lives in a land above the clouds and then he is called to free the land below his homeland ("cough" Minish Cap?) and then later on the Skyward Sword turns out to be the Master Sword.

So LoZ: The Skyward Sword must take place before OoT/Minish Cap.

Sorry for my English (It's not my native languaqe).

  • I just tought of someting.

You said only the Silver Airows killed Gannon right? And he died in LoZ and LttP with them. Maybe when Link stuck him in TP instead of killing him he just lost his ability to keep his Human form. That might of happened in WW too which might explain why in the next names he is or maybe can only apear as a pig.

  • Maybe then it is significant when Ganon appears human - he has suplus power and can handle it, but when he appears as a beast it means he has to work harder to survive, the illusion breaks down.

  • hey lancun its me dredahalomaster i erased my account so if u see my new name just me

  • that Vati was alive even after TP Vati could of revived Ganon once again and again he was impresoned as at the end of four swords adventures that being said back in the oracle games Twinrova could of been revived and survived all the way to alttp for when ganon was killed he could of been reveived once again and able to play the role through the Wind Waker and both the orignal zelda games now i have not played the two ds and links awaking so i do not know if ganon is in them but you get thepoint

  • i do have to agree but in turn Twinmova was in MM and with the theory that i put in part two about the revolt they stay out of power untile vati or the other come into power and they bring ganon back as you can actually fight ganon if you put in cheats in the game but with that said who is to say that twinrova was not the way that ganon was revived so there is only one ganon for if you put the oracle games before TP which could happen ganon would be revived from the orignal legend of zelda given

  • I know that the skyward sword game must go before Ocarina of time because the master swords was not made until halfway according to anouma and miyamoto

  • You what I'm thinking? It's called -Legend- of Zelda. Something posible is that there is no storyline, but different forms of the same legend. Like something changing from place to place or changes from generations. There are many things that can chage when you tell another person and what a kid interpretes something and when it becomes older he tells his children and so it chages from person to person (region) or from generation. There is no story line, but is the same legend told diferently.

  • @MrFreakHeavy That's called the "Literal legend theory" and the producers have said countless times that it is not true.

  • @xRallinkx But they have also said that there is not a timeline... well never mind we are just trying to organize events, so never mind -.-

  • But it can't be ALttP's Ganon. Because it was captured in the Pccori Sword. The Piccori Sword is the one that captures the evil in it and when you break it the evil creatures escape... that's what happened in the Minish Cap, if I'm correct. And Vaati was sealed in the pedestal of the sword and so it is released in Four Swords and Adventures. And because it was sealed he couldn't go the Golden Land and take the Triforce.

  • @MrFreakHeavy

maybe the Picori sword is another gateway to the Sacred Ream

  • I used to think that Majora's mask happened during those 7 years trip in OoT...

  • i would where skyward sword could possible go on this.

  • @TheMrWavvy Im guessing it would end up merging Hyrule A & B together, hense, it took on a Twilight Princess/Wind Waker type world.

  • @TheMrWavvy So, the middle I thinkk.

  • What in game evidence are you using to assume that there are two Gannons? After see his origin in Ocarina of Time I find it hard to believe that there is all the sudden another evil pig like thief named Gannon running around.

  • @maxmydog25 I'm using the fact that he dies three times in the series, but there's only two paths on the timeline. Remember, the Ganon in FSA seems to hide in the shadows until he can take the Trident of Power. Why would he need this if he has the near-omnipotent power that Ganon is known for?

  • @Lancun

In FSA the Gerudo NPCS talk about Ganondorf, mentioning he had a thirst for power since he was a child. Since Ganondorf #1 was killed in TP, and there have been numerous Links and Zeldas, its a solid conclusion that there is a second Ganondorf.

But there are some issues; how did the Gerudo magically reappear in Hyrule if they were gone in TP?

also in LTTP it says the Master Sword rested forever after, but in ur timeline the Oracles are next and they have the Master Sword.

  • @shayaan2354 Well, after Ganondorf's destruction, I suppose the Gerudo might not have been perceived as a threat anymore. There isn't a solid answer for everything, there's always going to be holes. But as for ALttP and Oracles, there's a lot in the Oracles that I question. Yes you get the Master Sword, but you just enter a password and some guy gives it to you, so I question whether or not it's anything but an easter egg. The Noble Sword is the one with the story in those games.

  • @Lancun

either way though, would it screw up the master plan if the Oracles were placed after TP?

Also, in the beginning of the Oracles Link is riding his horse to the Triforce temple and at the end of TP Link sets out on his horse.

Its one of those things that are so deliberate that you can tell they meant a connection. Sorta like how they placed a boat at the end of the Oracles because there was a boat at the beginning of Link's Awakening.

  • @shayaan2354 Well, I think it's obvious that it can't be the same Link from TP that's in Wind Waker. A, the Link in Oracles is a child/teen, and B, he doesn't know Zelda, in TP he does.

  • @Lancun

    I didn't mention Wind Waker...

but remember that whole, artistic style thing? so that cold explain why the Link in TP looks older than the one in the Oracles. maybe.

  • @Lancun Lancun when you were talking about where wind waker fits in one of the other vids in the games begining it says that the hero of time did not come what i believe is he was in TERMINA!,but thats just my believe it or dont its just me :D

  • @Lancun Of, and Ganondorf may be the customary name the Gerudo give to their king, the male which only comes around every 100 (?) years.

  • @shayaan2354 perhaps they were beyond the arbiters grounds.

  • @shayaan2354 I think that Hyrule A's Ganondorf became two beings: Ganondorf and Ganon. Ganondorf was killed, but the monster he had created from his spirit in OoT lived on in the Sacred Realm, later to break out in ALttP. Ganondorf B later became Ganon, just Ganon.

    Hope that helped. :)

  • @Lancun You never know, gerudo have a child every 100 years thats a male, maybe ganon made it so he would be reborn every 100 years?

  • @maxmydog25 There is also the possibility that gonon had children (VERY VERY low chance though but you never know) at different times who could have never known each other. Just like the possibility of two links and two zeldas.

  • @maxmydog25 Gannon-Banned!

  • As much as I love the Zelda franchise and enjoy playing them, I've come to realize that there is most likely no storyline or relation between most of the games. I see the series as being similar to Final Fantasy in that regard, and I think that the fans have put a million times more thought into the matter than the creators themselves.

But that doesn't stop me from loving them, and won't stop anyone else from trying to link them together (pun intended). :P

  • @ssbbnumber1fan You also have to consider that Termina is a parallel world. The Koume and Kotake in that game aren't the same as OoT, because they're good in that one.

  • My timeline theory is scarily close to this; My only difference is that I put Spirit Tracks after Zelda II because there were no railroads in Zelda II. Plus, there's not as much water in Spirit Tracks.

  • Actually, Lan, Zelda *introduces* herself to Link in the Oracle games, suggesting that they do -not- know each other.

The existence of Twinrova says that it should still take place in the Majora's Mask timeline though.

  • @RustyKoi What I'm saying is that at the end of Oracles, he DOES know her. Neither Link knows Zelda at the start of his game.

  • @Lancun It seemed more like you were implying that it was a sequel to A Link to the Past because the Triforce is together and he knows Zelda. That was what I was correcting there. Maybe I misunderstood your views.

  • @RustyKoi No, what I was trying to do was establish that there's only certain criteria for a game to precede Link's Awakening.

  • i dont mean to be a dick but does this really matter? i love Zelda but ive never thought about connecting story. If even the creator of the game say their separate games why try and piece them together? someone please answer this question...why?

  • @Nzane12: 2 reasons.

Reason 1) Actually, the creators have always said there's been a timeline, so you've got your info wrong.

Reason 2) There are clear, obvious connections between the games in terms of chronology. This has been happening more and more blatantly with each game released. Thus, to want to figure out what those connections are isn't an unfounded quest.

  • What I would like to know is how and why the Triforce of Power left Ganondorf at the end of Twilight Princess. I can understand that it left him, and then he died of being stabbed in the chest by the Master Sword, but why would the Triforce leave him?

  • @ChromaAurora Well, there's several theories on that. The first is that the Triforce is self-aware, which we know from ALttP. The second is that there might be a punishment threshold, or a "shelf life" to the amount of damage a Triforce wielder can take. Remember that he himself comprises of three bosses in TP (technically four). So there's a couple of assumptions as to why it leaves him.

  • @ChromaAurora Im guessin the gods saw him and what he has done and took the power from him or when they die the triforce leaves you when you do IDK LOL

  • I wanted to believe MC was somewhere near ALttP. I say that because it looks like the house Link lives at in MC is the same that the ALttP Link lives at, except the home has been more built upon (more rooms, an upstairs, etc). But with everything else in the game, I can't really make it fit.

  • He acctually revived Volvagia in ocarina of time ;P

  • Zelda is not just a game... it's a legend.

  • my brain - it burns

  • no you mention twinrova basically heads to heaven now i'm gonna go by what i know here they go to heaven then are judged and then if they're bad the go to hell this is my interpretation of it

  • Now, watch as the next Zelda game comes out and fucks this whole chart up.

  • I don't think that there are two Ganons.

At the end of Twilight Princess, it's true, Ganondorf dies. But Ganondorf is the name of his human/gerudo form. So what if his beast form, Ganon, actually survives?

Think about it, we haven't seen him in his human form ONCE since Twilight Princess. And perhaps his beast form would still be able to wear the Triforce of Power, who knows?

But that's just my theory. Lan, your theory is beyond words interesting. Keep it up!

  • @m3dion I never understood where this idea that Ganon is a different entity from Ganondorf. I think the idea stemmed from OcarinaHero's timeline, where he makes this mistake. Ganondorf IS Ganon, and vice-versa. It's a form, like a DBZ villain for instance.

  • what about the skyward swords

  • @DomSparrowUchiha

we dont know enough about it yet, but i do hear that it will be before OOT, because it seems that the master sword will be created in this game.

  • @DomSparrowUchiha

That IS the new one coming out. But FUCK! It's coming out 2011!!!!!!!!!! BULLSHIT!

  • OMG I just Translated the Hylian At the Top Of the Timeline! XD
