@therealrockondon HPS is what you need. CFL is surrogate. LED is indeed good for growing, but obviously not for blooming. Your attempt is good though, because now we can see what happens.

800watts of hps there 30percent blue 70percent red but i wanted to show youtube that i gave leds a shot and a 240watt led light cant even replace a 150watt hps :) ive always ran hps/cfls ..just my summer test
hey don, long time no comment. it looks like your plants are stretching. maybe try 2 plants in your hooskow grow area and put the led right on top of them. i think the wattage is too low for 4 plants at a distance. my peace to you
@therealrockondon i think you should see something there, kbgrowkid was using t5s for bloom and had the lights almost touching the plants. i dont know what your lumens are on that gizmo but you should be able to set it right on the buds hahah my peace to you
@Autodidiact i was kbgrow first sub i think..i have the t5 setup he has.my 240watt led grow was just an expieriment over the summer.in the winter i run 2 400watt hps with cfl on the side.my cfls can outgrow
this led growlight.the t5s work great close about 1inch away or 2 inches thanx man..
You take a stock and twist it in the vegetative stage until it snaps or has a small cracking sound watch it heal and the keep doing once every week and a half until and stop a week before flowering than start again the moment it starts to flowers watch the diference bro watch out.peace and happy growing GMM
