I really like Howard-- the guy, I mean-- he's very honest and incredibly perceptive, but.. there's something about the show itself that I just don't get into in large doses. It seems like you have to have a certain experience or affinity for his "thing" to really love it. I love other things that way-- as in they could be farting into a bag and you'd dig it because you just love everything about them for whatever reason-- but more than 20 minutes of Stern, and company, gives me a headache.

It's not like Jerry isn't crediting David with a lot of the success. So the point is kind of dumb and old. If Seinfeld came on there and said, "I am the greatest and look what I turned this show into without any help." Then I would understand that someone needed to turn a Seinfeld interview into a Curb advertisement. But no, instead Seinfeld credits David with the success.

To say Larry David is behind everything is to insult Jerry's genius comic abilities, they both came up with the show, and Jerry himself kept the show going for several more seasons at #1 after Larry left

They have a lot in common. They are both middle class Jewish people from Long Island who made it to the top of their respective comedy fields in the 80s and 90s...  Jerry took the more acceptable road, and Stern took the more controversial road.
