this game is made by the same developers as Operation Flashpoint. The game is based upon realism... not graphics. Although these graphics are def amazing for how big gthe maps are, and AI intellegence.

I bought this game and it was buggy but not too bad. The controls are a bit complex if your coming from CoD or BF games. This game is amazing. Graphics wise and gameplay wise.

the commands to play this are sick.. Too much binds and stuff... they should automatically assign the walking controls to move the vehicles..

Frustrating... is putting it lightly lol, there are a thousand different keys to memorize... I wish they kept it simple like all the source fps games.

And the demo multiplayer map is just horrible... you respawn out in the open on any random team, it's a total mess.

I still don't know if I should buy it...

It's gonna be released on consoles like Xbox 360. That right there means the developers will make OP flash point alittle more arcade like for mainstream FPS players. It means it will be the same way for PC. OP Flash point was anything but an arcade.

It's like how MMOs all wanna be like WoW. Now FPS games wanna be like COD. Oh well not much u can do atleast ARMA II will set the FPS standard in what a challenge is.

I dunno if this is accurate, but I heard the reason they haven't done ragdoll is because RD is done client side, not server side, so it happens differently for every plater, and ruins the idea of hiding behind a body. I imagine it's a simple fix, but that's what I heard.

I like how the first person camera view shakes when the player is running. Makes for a more realistic and immersive gaming experience, unlike the steadycam-like view of most first person shooters. Very cool.
