You can't really say it's a realistic zombie game. I can count many instances where in the newer zombie movies the virus causes people to have rage. To be honest I havnt seen the whole "eating of brains" thing I. A very long LONG time. So no I don't really think this is more realistic, but it is WAY more fun.
