  • Don't get me wrong. Dubstep is good, but many people confuse Dubstep with that shit "Brostep" that Skrillex is pioneering. This was legitimately the first DnB song i heard by far in Juiced back in 03 or 04.

  • I don't need the drugs. What do you need the drugs for? I'm rushing like fuck just listening to this.

  • @bluebottle99 If this song were a world, I would move there without hesitation.

  • I find it funny that the video spelled it as Johny even though the art cover says Jonny.

  • And humanity said.....LET THERE BE HARDCORE!

  • juiced XD

  • @muddyelam2 ha ha thats where my lil nephew heard it first till i cut him a copy of the full tune! :)

  • This is one of the best tracks in the history of electronic music. period.

  • @phortify Dude this is one of the best tunes in the history of Music let alone just electronic !!! This era will never be recreated... : )

  • this is the one song i remember when i used to play Juiced (video gmae)

  • no way, ive been looking for this track for years, it was on the ps2 game 'juiced'

  • What a tune! I kept this track into my mind somewhere, last week i heard this on Nu Perception web radio and this song cames out! Maybe it's a bullshit but the hardcore seems the parents of the current dubsteb, what do you think?

  • @sandrofm1977

I just cant get into that dubstep.

  • @alan4cc Likewise. My roommate plays dubstep and I don't get into the electrical music as much as he does, yet this track is pretty good. I don't get it... maybe I'm just made of retarded. X-D Hahahaha!

  • @alan4cc long before dubstep was even a twinkle in it's dad's eye mate

  • @alan4cc that's not dubstep ..

  • @alan4cc most people over 30 cant. lol

  • @sandrofm1977 no way mate dubstep is fucking shit....they wont be listening to that in 20 yrs unlike this.

  • @sandrofm1977 maybe... i think a lot of the old old skool producers are still producing & now producing dubstep...either way theres defo a big connection...LOVE IT !

  • @sandrofm1977 it's the parent of jungle, dnb, garage, dnb, uk funky, broken beat, dubstep. Anything bassy that followed.. Hardcore is the daddy of them all. The most awesomely creative period in electronic music history imho..

  • Keep going back to this one on youtube once a week. Got it on vinyl, but don't want to ruin it by playing. Tube is perfect for this. :)

  • Thumbs up if you're still listening to this in 2011 :)

  • @MrBreakingLDN Nope! 2012 XD

  • had this tune on blank tdk cd tapes i bought in taunton in 93 or 94. can't remember what year but a good club tune. Only locate the track title when moondance album was shown on on TV in 1997 area.

  • @MRJustinLangford Cool - What type of music would you call this ? Trance ?

  • @AtomicFlood Old skool breakbeat techno maybe.

  • @MRJustinLangford "it`s HARDCORE,pure and simple." Like it says in one of the highest rated comments ;) Hardcore doesn't sound like this these days, but in 92, when this tracks came to be, this was hardcore.

  • @MRJustinLangford Ok. UK hardcore and European hardcore scene are 2 different mutations of the same thing. At the time, the UK (mainly English) peeps wanted to take it away from the dark way Belgium goin (Hence the Manix tune "Never been to Belgium"). European Hardcore sound was taken from Belgian Techno and its Industrial/New Beat heritage. Whereas UK hardcore had aspects of the arguably more diverse UK dance music scene and the people in it. Mostly all IMO...

  • @MRJustinLangford I should add that the European Hardcore sound (which most people in Europe will recognise as Hardcore) comes from Frankfurt and was further developed by the Dutch (mainly Rotterdam) Gabber scene... Gabber at that time was party music and not necessarily hard. However, Aphex Twin apparently used the term Industrial Hardcore in the 80s to describe some of his own music... There you go, Mr Pedant. Put that in your pipe. Have f*cking lovely day...

  • Pulse FM?Fuck that!Fantasy FM,Astoria,Charing Cross Road!In the top 5 Hall of Fame list.Respect Jonny! We'll forget about Truesteppers with Dane Bowers & Victoria Beckham.I know that the cash was calling!

  • wish people stop worrying about puting a lable on bloody music they care more about the genre...hardcore/dnb/jungle,,,who cares its a fucking tune just enjoy it!!

  • I don't normally comment on things but feel I have to just to set the record straight zzzzzz .. this was released in the UK in 1992 but was on import probably 1990. It is a hardcore choon with drum and bass undertones. The terms DnB and Jungle were used back at the end of the 80's on Phantasy FM by DJ Hype and Rap (also Randall, Kenny Ken, Grooverider etc..) Hype was Hardcore - DnB - Jungle then DnB! I'm 42 and used 2 rave at Camden, Roller Express and so I AM qualified 2 comment!! Great Choon!!

  • propre de chez propre

  • skaankin

  • To all the peeps on here confused to whether this is Jungle, DnB, Oldskool rave...I'll be happy to clear up the confusion. I started going out raving in 1991...went to all the big events - Raindance, Fantazia, Universe, Obsession, Dreamscape etc. I was there at the time and terms like Jungle and DnB were not even bein used. The earliest Jungle tracks started to come through in 1992 but Jungle did'nt really splinter off until about 1993 then from Jungle came DnB. This is 'ardcore...simple.

  • @jasonleigh1974 sorry mate but im an old skool raver too, i have a mix tape from 1990 on which the dj calls Radio Babylon by Meatbeat DnB... so the terms were flying around. but really who gives a f*@k, it was just really good music!

  • @abrightredpoppy some

Okay so one person labels one track DnB which he might have come up with off the cuff. What I mean is the DnB hadn't even been invented around this time. Sure you had the beginnings of Jungle & DnB in certain tracks. No one was talking about Jungle & DnB back in 1990 'cos alot of the tracks were more house/techno orientated as opposed to breakbeat. Are you honestly trying to say DnB was around in 90? Sorry mate...you don't know what you're talking about. Good music tho :)

  • best old skool tune ever

  • probably one of the best ever old school DnB tunes I have heard.

  • Pretty much the best song ever in the history of mankind.

  • Quality and still sounds fresh, although totally played to pieces in 1992

  • cos this tune made me happy thumbs up all round lol

  • The vocals to this make me smile :)

Now that is happy hardcore XD

  • what's his last name?

  • His name is John Lisners.

  • A lot of free radio stations used to play this track !!

Love it and thanks for uploading it here.

  • Jungle shmungle.......just superb breaks ...ENJOY!!

  • BEST SONG EVER MADDEEE I LOVE ITT!!!

  • SO TRUE MANN!!! 100% WID YA ON DAT 1!

  • It`s HARDCORE,pure and simple. PULSE FM......

  • this is sooooo not Jungle, the only thing even being "jungle" at this period was miles away from this...bad tune, but old skool rave, no jungle influence in at ALL!!!

  • classic tune. one of my favs

  • 2.33 .... just legendary

  • can someone send this version to me plz plz plz

  • 1 off the greatest off all time

  • i disagree, its the greatest hit of jungle

  • this isnt jungle its oldskool rave

  • You're quite right Scousehead. This is back from when "Jungle" was in its embryonic stage as merely an evolutionary change to the hardcore sound. It wasn't until around '94 that the Jungle sound broke away into its own genre so prior to that this track was Hardcore, pure and simple.

  • So basically this is like Jungle in development stage?

  • Yer but jungle doesnt really have the melody that hardcore/old skool rave does, its more about fast beats and ragga style singing over the top..thats jungle

  • no not really.I wouldnt say that it is jungle in development stages, but it uses drum breaks,in the track, which is kind of what jungle did.but ...

  • this is a cool music

  • cool tune. thumbs up

  • I like this tune very much!

  • Cool. Is this new to you ? Im surprised if it is. You seem to have the best old school already covered.

  • Of course, I've heard this tune before. To be honest, I like the other version of it. If you like, I can send it to your e-mail.

  • ill have that version if u av it dint no ther was 1
