Considering the constant progress of robots and computers to take on more human tasks; The more time goes by, the more the answer to "Are you better than a robot?" becomes "No". It's only a matter of time before "robots" are good enough at virtually every human task, to replace us all work-wise. Almost no job is safe, even creative jobs. And as robot usage grows, their cost will go down, leading to more job lose.
So I cannot foresee a future where most of us aren't dependent on social systems.
