A steampunk Spartan Shot would be great if it was painted in Brass, Brown and Blacks. Probably the closest paint mod you can get to Steampunk, without Brassing the entire thing or adding guages and cogs.

Interesting paint job, Drac. I'm not sure it's so much "steam-" as "cyberpunk". S-punk tends more toward wood, brass and iron motifs. This blaster seems like something Deckard or a Cylon would carry (coming from someone who doesn't watch BSG, either). But as said, great mod, and the paint is actually cool.

You did a really good job on that, but I believe you completely missed the steampunk part. I see no brass or worn places. Maybe some exposed gears, even if it's merely ornimental. I have to agree that it looks more like cyberpunk then steampunk. Still it's a good job.

Either you, Drac, or the commissioner, missed the point entirely of steampunk. White the paintjob is incredible (as are all your paintjobs), this is much more cyberpunk than steampunk. Steampunk is much more about brass, gold and wood than black and silver.
