  • If you own a Superbird nowadays, it is required that you have a big number 43 on the side of it. Gotta represent the KING.

  • at 3:08 angry expression!

  • Hjjvdgf

  • I would very much like to own one of these :3

  • Finally someone posts a muscle car showing if setup properly they can handle very well contrary to what kids these days have been taught in their video games and by the anti-muscle tuner enthusiasts. I myself enjoy anything built to perform, muscle or not, but I default to MoPar Muscle as my favorites.

  • that superbird has a superwing..

  • i could sit and listen to this thing idle all day. gotta love the big cam v8's

  • ok im stoked that this mopar is badas and slammed but when i first started watching i was like wow this guy is shit but once he got used to the car and track he was doing pretty damn good so congrates! gotta love mopar!

  • Wow look at these youtube car know it all trolls below me argueing like girls. wow VV

  • Love what Sweden is doing these days! Hats off to the Swedish motoring enthusiast brining back old school USA cars and having fun with them instead of placing them in museums.

  • @secretRBRman finally someone who agrees that atleast some of these cars should be put to a good and fun use.

  • ken block would shit on anyone

  • Is that what Drifting really is?

I hate to bring it to all you young, self-educated-on-the-web dudes, it was called Power Sliding in my days. The methods to get this capabilities out of a ANY car has not changed, so you or your Japanese experts did not invent anything new or cool.

  • @johnnymitz You sir, have no clue what you are talking about.

  • @williamchop How so? What I listed ARE the main ingredients needed to "drift". Christ, how else would you do it? Do you tink 33" Super Swamper tires will work, or the original torsion bar suspension, an stock (and anemic) 318ci-2bbl, etc? So how in the fuck am I clueless? While I am a diehard Mopar guy, and indeed like the vehicle in this video, the concept of drifting and all its crap is just that: Crap.

  • @johnnymitz Drifting isn't about what you do its how its done. Drift is about the simple beauity in going side-ways. Some guys get that, others, like yourself, don't. I can respect your years of work in the feild and respect that you are a die hard mopar fan,but btw, no I dont think those tires will work...mud tires...really? I would swap the original torsion var suspension to something a tad more update haha. and the 318 2 barrel would be swaped to a 440 6-pack or 440 6 barrel( same thing tho)

  • @williamchop If you think I am clueless, let's discuss my alleged clueless-ness in some other forum where we don't have the constraints of YouTube, like email? Then you can tell me that my 30+ years in the Auto Industry as an Engineer, 2 degrees (Machinist, BSEE), 35+ years of hands on automotive experience, including all types of motorized competition, is simply no match for your wit and all the buzz words you read online between rounds of World Of Warcraft in your IT job.

  • Let me see if this old gear head get's this straight.

    1) Pump the back tires up to 60psi.

    2) No rear suspension at all.

    3) Lighten the shit out of the car.

    4) Add some HP.

    5) Maybe install Rack & Pinion.

    6) Go flog it somewhere.

  • that things a monster!!!!

  • he or she knows what thy are doing

drifting within the limits of the cones look hard

  • Bad ass car but the driver can't drift. Sad :(

  • i might have fish for tea tonight o and thats a nice car if it was given to me mate i would give it a ffn hiding

  • man if you wanna see real drifting go to japan

  • @killajavy really? an American wins the drifting competitions almost every single year...

  • Y'all all mad.

Its either this, or it sits in the backyard of some "restorer" and rusts.

    Actual restorations/enthusiasts are rare.

  • That Sound MAN THAT SOUND!!!

  • One of the ugliest cars I've ever seen.

  • Unless it's a kit

  • How could you do that to such a beautiful and rare car

  • Love tha sound

  • nice drifting, practice make perfect.

  • @Boydd916 I'm not taking sides here, but I do see what this nevada guy is saying.Few tips for internet arguing, don't put 'lol' a shitload of times, know what you're talking about, and don't do it in the first place.State your point, stick with it,and then get out. There is no sense in it.

  • I want to see this beast with the nose on.And be able to drive it.Whenever I want.

  • I found the build thread on the car if anyone has an interest in reading. Its in Sweedish but whatever.

  • The winged mopars were the first nascar to reach the speed of 200 mph...1969 bobby issac...They are go fast cars and not for drifting...I cannot iamgine trying to throw around a 3000 lb car...I,ll leave the drifting to the cmc cars...Chinese muscle cars!!!

  • @nevadacitymopar buddy baker first person to go 200mhp on an inclosed oval. 1969 dodge daytona

  • this cars sick!, i love seeing cars built for stuff that they were not originally intended for. its what keeps car culture interesting, otherwise there would be less diversity

  • @Boydd916 You can take a 5.7 liter GM LS Crate motor and boost it to around if not over 1000 horsepower easily and for low cost if you know what you're doing. The fact is that you can't get the instant torque anywhere in the powerband that a V8 provides out of any 4 cylinder, including 2jz's. It really comes down to what you like, what you choose to put it in, and in what way you choose to modify it. To each his own. If it doesn't negate from your ability to choose, why attack it?

  • God damn that car is super low. Wish I could see more of this car

  • wheres its face?!

  • Nothing makes a car scream badass than 1" of ground clearance....

and a V8 that sounds like its crunching bears between its cylinders..

  • What you all fail to realize is that Sam Hubinette is a MOPAR enthusiast. You can sit there and say that this car is legendary and how you want to slap him or whatever, but the fact still remains that this car weither it goes in a straight line or sideways around a corner is still sexy. And i wish this car was still around, especially in FD where Sammy drifts now.

  • badass

  • whats with the gay ass music?

  • yikes looks like it needs new rear leafs

  • Everyone chill - even if that was a real 'bird there is pretty much nothing left in it that could be called factory. Its his car, let him do what he wants with it.

Its pretty awesome to see someone beating on a superbird like that.

  • I drift a bright yellow one of these on GT5 lol I feel like im drifting the Sun its so massive haha

  • Superbirds are probably going for over $300 000 these days... I'm pretty sure he just built up a regular road runner into a superbird. I actually love this thing, it looks sort of rat rod-ish. I love the old big blocks, they sound like their crank cases are lubricated with hammers!

  • This just looks awkward with the front 1/4 mile of the car missing.

  • Why would you take such a rare car and turn it into that? The front end of that thing is just as iconic as the spoiler, why not use a different car for this crap?

  • atleast put the front back on lol...

  • the guy that owns the car is from Sweeden, god bless him for using an american mopar with a v8! check out his other videos of him in his 69 charger and wicked 70 cuda! keep on keepin' on man! MOPAR or NO car

  • this car looks homo with no front end and lowered that low

  • That thing is an abomination, Just goes to show that money cant buy sense.

  • to many jizzes in my pants right now. awesome engine sound

  • i love his scando flick at 2:44

  • @Muckypuck2 Nissan 200SX is also out of production, but I get your point. Eat some pills dude.

  • @sportbilen so is a toyota supra. that muckypuck2 is an idiot

  • @Muckypuck2 I dont think anybody would do that to a real one!

  • @gurgeliglaset u know it was rite?

  • @Muckypuck2 i get your point but at least its getting driven, and hard like they are supposed to be. i think it'd be a massive shame if it sat in the guys garage collecting dust.

  • @Muckypuck2 well put the guy who owns this car actually has a puppet show every tuesday

  • @Muckypuck2 lol "ricer" shit will smoke your fuckin domestics all day, and save gas lollllllll

  • @Boydd916 thats beside the point bro, these are legendary, and if it is a real one, its a waste, a HUGE waste

  • @19thstep lol who cares? if it is real, he obviously has enough money to buy one and do whatever the fuck he wants with it

  • @19thstep i honestly doubt its a reall one.

  • @Boydd916 Too bad your ricer shit costs 15,000 in engine work alone to make 400bhp. V8's are cheaper, more reliable, they sound better, faster throttle response and parts are super easy to get. That, and just because it's a muscle car doesn't mean it can't corner. Cornering is all in the suspension and the driver, car has very little to do with it unless it's like a fucking limo or something.

  • @Lastspark 15,000 in engine work? lmao you can boost to 500hp on stock internals in a 2jz. lol good luck getting 500hp outta your 5,000 350hp/350tq crate engine. lol do some research before you talk shit, definitely not better throttle response lol. and as for sounding better, thats a matter of opinion, and as for reliable and parts are easy to get, so are 2j's and their pretty easy to get parts for. im not talkin about honda civics you dumb redneck fuck

  • @Boydd916 Oh shit because everyone who owns a old V8 bought a piece of shit crate motor from Jegs and paid 3x too much for half the horsepower. Build the shit yourself, it's a lot like building a computer, it's always cheaper to buy shit individually. And the 2jz's are just overrated. Just because basically every grassroots drifter wants it, they think it's good because they can wide it up tight for the horsepower numbers rather than have a broad powerband.

  • @Lastspark lol you sound retarded, you can boost up to like 700hp on stock internals in a 2jz motor, no ones talkin about civics, or 4 cylinders you dumb fuck, as for cheaper, its $2000 for a complete motor swap, for a motor thats 320hp stock. look for a chevy crate motor with 350hp/350tq theyre about 4-5 grand you dumb fuck. lol 400hp in an import will shit on your 500hp heavy ass domestic, and as for sound better, thats a matter of opinion, and im pretty sure imports are reliable lmao you mad?

  • @Muckypuck2

Lol... you got spammed. But it's agree'd.

  • hey sportbilen, i hate to break it to ya, bt ALL superbirds came with v8s.

  • @preistofdeath666 Haha!! Well... Its a search word thing you know. Not ALL V8 fans search for Superbird. :-)

  • must be hard to drift that thing

  • @drewdane40 No bullshit,I just thought it would be different,so I did it.

  • so..... can i have it hahah, is it easy to get to drift??

  • @nataslider I got a '68 Camaro, with a hemi bitch,so wind up your little toy car and come see me and mastaajbomb, and suck our throbbing cocks of all-american Detroit steel you piece of shit ricer.

  • @Tinytim1995 You have a Chrysler engine in a Chevy? Or you're just talking shit (more likely.)

  • I never really got into tuners an shit, but I think we've found a very happy middle.I wanna see that beast with the nose on,and lastly,I want one.

  • GOD BLESS V8!

  • so poeple bitch that a super B is drifting..yet noone says anything bout camaros and mustangs drifting??

you can drift anything rwd get over if it sa muscle car or not

  • sounds like a clapped out piece of shit, and is boring as bat shit to watch

  • As a die-hard NASCAR fan I can appreciate anybody that can slide a car around like that. I remember watching the Superbirds and Daytona's run at Charlotte and Dover in 1970 and thought they were the coolest looking race cars I had ever seen.

Just one thing...PLEASE don't wreck that car.

  • its too low, and there is way to much grip in the rear to drift properly. looks more setup for auto cross

  • Is that the stock radiatior mount?

  • @mastaajbomb wot a dumb fukn question

  • @nataslider o really? ive never seen a superbird without its nose. go drift your japcrap into a wall

  • @mastaajbomb well firstly i wont hit a wall cause im not stupid and dont over drive......

2ndly my car is probley cheeper than this cars rims 3rdly when i win lotto im guna buy a super bird come to your douch bag house shit on your driveway back my tyre onto it a splat that crap allover your garage door....lol

  • @nataslider *facepalm* i got a 67 chevelle so bring it.

  • Tellmewho04 I couldn't agree with u more

  • How cars should sound.

  • can u please qiut bitchin bout wether drifting is a sport or not (ik its ur 2cents but still) driftings been around for a hell of a lot longer than fast tand the furios. drifting has rules, drag racing has rules, nascar has lotsa rules there all sports

  • hahahahah 69 dislikes

  • Ummm was this a drift competition or a Road course? You know that car was built just to make left turns right? lol

  • needs a bigger back wing

  • what a fucking shame, that car wasnt built for any of that bullshit. i know its not an actual superbird, but what a disgrace to richard petty & nascar. fuckin mooks.

  • @Tellmewho04 Fuck you hillbilly bitch go shove your left turn no skill nascar up your fat Alabama ass!

  • The car is like in NEMO

  • Hey thats only 3/4 of a SUPERBIRD

  • I agree, drifting is not a sport, it is stupid actually.

  • One question, who is Samuel Hubinette and what does he have to do with this video?

  • not much drifting but an awesome idea

  • wow, so cool, ive never seen one of those lowered before

  • Man, if that thing were to have the nose on, and do a top speed run, slammed like that it would run so much faster than it did stock.

  • anyone know the history of that car? Was it orig a petty car?

  • dear santa, this year i have been a very good boy and i would like this car love nix

  • i'd like 2 romp on that bitch myself!!!!! ONE MEAN BIRD!!!

  • Looks like you got something sorted or the driver started getting comfortable by the end. It is to low in the back though and looks funny.

And, I'm going to guess that isn't a real superbird. Looks very good, but considering the price and rarity of them I don't think someone would really change one that much.

  • this is a complete waste of such an amazing and rare muscle car! dont get me wrong, i love drifting and i do really like muscle cars but this specific combination.... no, just no.

  • That is .... sick

  • I don't know if I hate you because you have a Superbird, or because you are kicking the crap out of it.. or if I should love you for doing something good with it.. I have very mixed feelings about this video...

  • @RC18B92 baaahhahahahahahaha dude that was freaking funny xD

  • no drift?

  • Nice lol

  • Hope its a clone

  • @FlyingAero good god i hope so

  • @FlyingAero ya really, those are some rare muthafuckin cars!!!!!

  • @FlyingAero its not

  • @VolvoAll3 Ahhhhhh noooooo

  • that car is sweet

  • That's how they should be setup, it looks awesome tubbed & lowered like that, totally Badass, shame we dont see it with the nose on, but awesome anyway!

  • i think if the car wasnt completely slammed it would turn better

  • If its a real one, you don't turn a car like that into a drifting car

  • lets see just one of those ricers have the balls to swing that hulk around a corner!

  • Weak but sounds like he has like 10 motors in thier

  • have u tried playing with front camber to speed up correction of wheel?

  • @DMDreaper666 its caster that has an effect on how quickly the wheel centres

  • @trisminc and also camber , i was wondering how much camber and what effect it made on it , thats all.

  • ruiend a good car

  • i see no drifting...

  • tHAT HAD bETter be a Clone!

  • @DetonatorYellow LOFNL!

  • @JEDI7ACEN

What is Funny? And what does that mean?

  • @DetonatorYellow That was Laugh out freking loud. Just saying that better be a clone.

What person in their right mind would do this to an actual Superbird?

I wouldn't even have done this with a cloned Bird.

  • looks too low and stiff for drifting, nice cackle to it though.

  • american muscle drifting? man what will the bruthas ruin next

  • @MrJp990 yea those weren't the first rear wheel drive front engine performance cars or anything. Idiot.

  • @blah666ful hey what did i do 2 u im not an idiot go use some tampons to calm ur damn self down

  • @MrJp990 yeah seeing as none of the people in this video where bruthas and its taking place in sweden, we all know sweden is full of blacks right? hahaha come on dude use your head there are like three black people in all of sweden, and even if this was america how many black guys do you see drifiting? none exactly. drifting is stupid but you cant credit blacks with it, and besides all that its a fiberglass door slammer its not like you could even find a real superbird in sweden

  • @bigbadbronco86 wow 8 hours ago u responded to my comment? wow i posted it a week ago and dude trust me i kno my cars i knew tht car was a fiberglass door slammer but it still looked damn good

  • @MrJp990 what does the time line have to do with anything? you made an ignorant comment, so i pointed out just how ignoraant it was, you should be thanking me haha

  • @bigbadbronco86 why wud i thank someone like u if its a racist comment who gives a damn i just dont get people these days

  • @MrJp990 lol i bet your IQ and shoe size are prettttty close arent they

  • @bigbadbronco86 and i bet ull never leave me alone if i say leave me the fuck alone dickweed

  • @MrJp990 i will leave you alone if you stop making retarded comments that dont apply to anything and thaat are racist

  • @bigbadbronco86 ok dickweed ill stop im in a good mood and not a fightin mood :)

  • @MrJp990 good job you salami smuggler even though i know youre racism isnt just going to stop overnnight

  • @bigbadbronco86 im not racist i just thought this was funny u dickweed

  • @MrJp990 wow dickweed twice in two comments, impressive vocabulary. whats funny about a completely ignorant statement that you made?

  • @bigbadbronco86 ok fuck nut it was funny how u said i was racist dude 1/2 of my friend r black

  • @MrJp990 lol thats the number one sign of racism when someone says 'i have black friends' hahaha i bet youre from the mid west too, wisconsin? iowa? lol

  • @bigbadbronco86 try pennsylvania and i am not racist

  • mam kan lika bra drifta med en långtradare, med släp,bör nog vara lite kortare bil

  • nice car horrible driver

  • badass

  • wish i had one

  • love the sound of a V8 at 5000rpm :D

  • Didn't look like much drifting to me. Mostly looked like Auto-X.

  • That is one nice handleing giant american sedan.

  • if ur going to make a superbird and put 43 on the side u got to have it petty blue

  • Comment removed

  • listen to that kitten pur

    music to the ears

  • it needs to b on the 1/2 mile to open that beast up

  • Drifting, the figure skating of motorsports.

  • Man that thing sounds so fuckin badass. I don't know why the nose really would make that much of a difference for changing the turning angle. I think with different suspension, better driving, and a better track, this car could have done really well. This is one of my favorite cars of all time. It would have been cool to see one in the context of drifting, in it's genuine form.

  • @partywithbonscott No no, the nose was off to make it more easy to adjust things while finding the best set up for drifting around with it.

  • @sportbilen Hahah wow now that I re-read that I don't know how I took it that way.

  • @sportbilen better for air intake also i would gather

  • hey guys.....don't be so offensive about drift muscle, i'm a JDM fan, but i started to love the muscle drift machine because it's something new, unique to me, there was one time when Tsuchiya came to US and test the Mustang drift car, he even said it was good! Muscle cars actually have a natural advantage on drift because of the huge amount of torque. Formula D and D1 have different type of rules, the way they build the cars are different, but i'm interested to see they compete each other!

  • whys it so low to the ground those are nice cars

  • what a waste!!!!!!

  • WHY THE HELL DID YOU RUIN THAT CAR :(

  • why waste money on such an ugly base care?

  • Drifting is GAY, OOOHHHH I can drift, big effing deal.

  • samuel hubinette is a douchebag

  • @waider Why?

  • @sportbilen

He always think he's da best, him and his ugly "drift" cars (if we can call those cars drift cars). He and his ugly truck sized Challenger would get rapped in Japan.

I wonder how he did in Odaiba with a proper drift car.
