@arrowfluxx turn up the frame rate on your project by a factor of two, and then divide all of the numbers in your coding by two, such as the variables for your running speed and gravity. That way, flash can check the position of your character more often, and you're less likely to fly through a platform on accident.
as for collisions that stop the player from jumping UP through a platform, I'm not sure...

but what I really really need...is to create a health bar and an enemy for me and enemy and if enemy touches you, you loose HP, if you hit him, he looses HP.
I added a boolean variable named jumping, so that it could perform the double jump after falling from an edge. It worked and I'm proud it did, because the only tut I followed besides yours, was a basic labirinth. :)
I guees my knowledge of C and C++ helped a bit too. xD

Hello! I was wondering about the Cam effect and Animations regarding the newer videos!
How do you make a camera that can follow the player during his own movement?
And second, how can I make the double jump movement sync with the animations? Right now the double jump movement sets the player stuck in motion.
